Hi there! My name is Tristina, and caring for animals, especially dogs, has been a lifelong passion of mine. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. And I’ve loved every second of it. Professionally, I’ve worked as a Kennel and Daycare Attendant at GoDog in Durham from February 2023 to September 2023, where I was responsible for supervising group play, managing feeding and medication schedules, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. From June 2024 to April 2025, I worked as a Bather at Bed and Bone Boarding and Grooming, where I gained hands-on experience handling a wide variety of breeds and learning the basics of grooming, hygiene care, and animal behavior. I also bring years of personal experience as a dog parent. I have two amazing dogs of my own—Bandit, an 11-year-old sweetheart I’ve had since he was two, and MJ, who’s almost 8 and has been with me since she was just 8 weeks old. Caring for them has taught me so much about the long-term commitment and love dogs need, and how to adjust care as they grow older. In addition to general pet care, I also have experience with dogs who have medical issues, including those with seizures. I’m comfortable administering medications and monitoring for signs of distress to ensure your pet stays safe and well cared for. What sets me apart is my deep empathy for animals, strong sense of responsibility, and personalized approach to care.
