Hey all! I've been a dog-sitter for over ten years, staying with the pups of families I nannied for, or with friends' dogs when they're out of town. Owners have always come home to a well-cuddled, well-fed, and happy pup. (I additionally have experience pet sitting for rabbits and cats.) I’m also the proud dog mama of two Miniature Australian Shepherds (Beckett & Bear) who live with their dog dad in Seattle. They’re both energetic, bundles of joy, and have been a lot of fun to train adventure with! As a dog walker, the overall well-being and happiness of your dog is definitely my priority! In addition to being very responsible, I'm an open and direct communicator, drawing from years of experience in childcare, house sitting, dog sitting, as well as additional customer-focused experience. I am currently staying with my folks and their adorable (but reactive) puppy, and am unable to accommodate daycare/stays at my house. I’m happy to provide pet sitting and housesitting at your home!

Tristen took EXCELLENT care of our dog for two weeks while we were out of the country. Tristen was very communicative and tool great care of our dog and our house while we were away. We were able to relax on our trip because Tristen was great! As a helicopter dog mom , Tristan exceded expectations and I would HIGHLY recommend Tristan for animal care. We will book again !
Tristen is an excellent caretaker for cats and dogs in my experience. She is patient, gentle, and loving with even the rowdiest of pups; her background in education clearly translates to working with animals! She cared for my 12 year old cat, Shea, on numerous occasions, for up to 2 weeks at a time. Tristen was flexible with my cat's finicky eating habits, attentive to her preferences, and helped me troubleshoot when Shea had digestive issues. I have also seen the impact of her training on 3 reactive dogs. All 3 made noticeable improvements and ultimately became more obedient, trusting, and calm with time. Tristen is observant of each dog’s patterns and eccentricities to provide individualized care. She has also coached me through interactions with dogs to ensure they get consistent feedback on their behavior and positive reinforcement. I highly recommend her services to any pet owner!

Tristen is reliable, caring, and has a good grasp of family rules for pets. She was very careful with our aging dog who was sick, and communicated regular updates to us while we were out of town. She’s sensitive but authoritative with pets. She is a reliable and trustworthy caretaker.

Schedule
I’m currently working a few part-time gigs, and have a fairly flexible schedule. With enough notice, I should be able to accommodate your request to watch your pet!
