I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to take breaks for walks, check-ins, and spending time with the pets in my care. I’m used to planning my day around feeding schedules, exercise, and giving animals attention throughout the day!

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in my home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and the environment calm and safe. I follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions closely. Dogs receive regular walks, outdoor time, and attention throughout the day. Because I have cats in my home, I’m only able to host dogs who are known to be safe and respectful around cats.

Information Tristan F. would like to know about your pet
• I have three resident dogs (V, Banjo, and Spudly) and several cats. For everyone's safety, guest dogs must be comfortable around other dogs and respectful around cats. • Meet & greets are required for new daycare and boarding clients to ensure a good fit for everyone. • Dogs should be current on vaccinations and free of contagious illnesses. • Because we live on acreage, a reliable recall is a plus, but not required. Dogs are always supervised and managed according to their individual needs and skill level. • I work from home, so dogs receive frequent potty breaks, supervision, and attention throughout the day. • Every dog is different. My goal is to provide a safe, low-stress environment where dogs can relax, play, and settle into a routine that feels comfortable for them.
A typical day
A typical day here is pretty relaxed and dog-centered. Mornings usually start with potty breaks, breakfast (if provided), and time to stretch our legs around the property. Throughout the day, dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time exploring the fields, sniffing around the yard, playing with compatible friends, or simply lounging in the sunshine. Because I work from home, dogs are part of my daily routine and receive plenty of attention, potty breaks, and check-ins throughout the day. Depending on weather and energy levels, we may take walks up our quiet dead-end road or head out for a short beach adventure. Rest and downtime are just as important as play, so there are always opportunities to relax indoors and recharge. My goal is for every dog to feel like they're spending the day with family—safe, comfortable, and having fun at their own pace.

Pet care experience
Nestled on acreage at the end of a quiet dead-end road, our place offers plenty of room to roam, sniff, and explore. My husband is a commercial fisherman, and during the summer season I'm home full-time running my photography business alongside my three dogs: V, Banjo, and our newest addition, Spudly. We're a dog-loving (and cat-loving!) household with a laid-back lifestyle. Most days are spent exploring the fields, taking walks up the road, enjoying the occasional beach adventure, or simply relaxing around the house. My dogs are friendly, well-socialized, and used to sharing their space with visiting pups. Whether your dog loves outdoor adventures or prefers a cozy nap in the living room, they'll have a safe, relaxed environment and plenty of companionship while they're here.

Reviews

Tristan was so sweet and friendly. She was so accommodating taking my pups at the last minute. The girls warmed up to her really quickly which isn't always the case. She sent pics of them out on walks with her dogs. They all looked like they were having a splendid time! I would love to have her watch my fur babies again some time 🥰.
