Dog lovers
Hi there! My name is Trista, I have always been a dog lover. I stop and say hi to every dog I come across and at parties you can always find me hanging out with the host's dog. My friends and relatives always ask me to dog sit while they are out of town and I figured I'd offer my services to others in the area. My husband Ed is also an animal lover, we both work a hybrid schedule: I’m home Wednesday and Friday, he’s home Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Neither of us are home on Mondays. When we aren’t home the pets have access to a fully fenced yard through a dog door. My parent’s Boston Terrier (Cali) is often with us as she lives next door. We own our house and have a fenced yard. When left alone, we close the gate to separate our dog from clients. I have experience volunteering at the Placer SPCA and have been through their training. I am familiar with handling both small and large dogs.

I’m always so grateful when my pups can stay with Trista and Ed! I know they will be so taken care of when I am gone. They even put up with all of Lola’s unsolicited kisses and constant ball obsession!

I was very nervous to leave my dog at a “sitter” because she had been my constant companion since coming to her home. Ed and Trista put all of my fears to rest. They began bonding to Rico as soon as the meet and greet. They kept me updated on her day to day activities and how she was doing. If I ever need to board her, again Trista and Ed will be my only choice. They are the best fit I could have hoped for. Truly dog lovers.

Trista and Edward were a blessing to have while we went away for a week. They watched our 3 dogs -- Bailey, Callie, and Merlot -- at their home and my pups enjoyed every minute of it. They have ample outdoor space for the dogs to run around and play which was perfect for my 3. Trista and Edward left us reassured that they would be well cared for from the pre-meet through the end of the booking and allowed us to not constantly worry on vacation which was a blessing. They were super thorough with care instructions and questions regarding the dogs and really thought of everything! This was especially calming for us since our youngest (Callie) has a bit of anxiety with strangers -- Callie bonded with Trista and Edward right away without hesitation. We got multiple updates and pictures throughout which was amazing! I was afraid my pups wouldn't want to leave when I picked them up because they had so much fun! Schedule
My husband Ed works from home Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I work from home Wednesday and Friday. Monday we are both gone 7:30-5:30. If we leave the dogs alone in the evening or on weekends it’s usually no longer than a few hours.

We have a fully fenced yard with access to a small dog door if we are not home. We will crate your dog if needed/requested. When we are home we play fetch, take walks or cuddle with the dogs depending on their wants/needs. Dogs are allowed on our furniture
