Safe and Playful Home for Doggies

When your dog is at my house, he or she will be treated like part of the family, not just “boarded”. Your dog will not only be safe, but also loved. I only accept one dog at a time, or two if they're "siblings".

Trista is a genuine dog lover as are all her family members. Our dog had a great stay. Trista sent a few text messages and photos throughout the stay. It was a great experience for our do.

Despite a last minute booking, Trista was able to watch my dog for an extended period of time! She is absolutely amazing and cared for my dog like he was family! Thank you so much!

Trista was terrific with our dog Britton. She was easy to get in touch with, answered our questions, and helped us book our stay. Britton seemed to enjoy her visit, and was playful and happy when we picked her up. Trista went above and beyond when Britton developed an ear infection while staying with Trista. She cheerfully took Britton to the vet, got her meds and was so sweet to Britton when she was sick. She and her family took good care of Britton and sent photos every day. Thank you Trista for your wonderful care. You did a terrific job and we will certainly use you again!

Doggy Day Care • Sep 17, 2024

I’m not out of the driveway yet and I just wanted to express my deepest gratitude for the excellent care for my Samson! Samson is high energy and a Velcro fur baby and his care was premium! I received video and photos and was kept up to date on his visit. There’s tons of space, two sweet very well mannered dogs of her own, and children to play with. Thank you 🙏 1000 times! I highly recommend Trista and I will definitely request her again when we come back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Trista has been helping out family for a couple years now. She is one of the most kind and gentle people I know. Any dogs she watches are immediately made part of her family and get the same pets and attention as her own. Her family are truly dog lovers. But more than that, she communicative, she sends lots of updates and pictures, she’s easy to get ahold of, and very fair on pricing. She’s home a lot, so your dogs aren’t ever just sitting in crates, they’re sleeping and getting loved on. I hardly trust anyone with my family members, and Trista is someone that hands down, I feel comfortable with, and can leave without a care in the world. You will be booking her for years to come and enjoying every minute!

Schedule

I am a stay at home mom, so I am home almost all the time. I can let dogs out as frequently as needed. If they love to be outside, I have a fully fenced-in private backyard with water available. Feeding can be done whenever they are used to it as well.

Safety, trust & environment

I have two dogs: a dachshund and a labradoodle. After the initial excitement of meeting a new friend, they are very calm and easy going. We have welcomed many dog friends, and they tend to match their energy. They will play and wrestle, or just lie around and ignore each other, so playful pups all the way to lazy old dogs fit right in at our house. Dogs are allowed on the couch, and if they are used to sleeping in the bed at night, that is welcomed. I also have a 3.5 year old son who has always been around dogs and loves to play and give "gentle pets". The main living area in my home is one level, and the only steps dogs will use are two off the back porch. Carrying them down the steps isn't a problem if they need it.

Pets

A typical day

Each day begins around 6:30. Dogs can go outside as often as needed depending on their preference. Feeding can also be easily accommodated, so if your dog is a grazer or needs a set feeding schedule, either way is fine. Some dogs prefer to stay inside and lounge around, but some prefer to run outside. Either way can easily be accommodated since I have a private fully fenced-in yard with a covered porch.

I do have a 3.5 year old, so if your dog is abnormally aggressive, we need to discuss before booking. He has been around dogs since birth and has been trained how to be gentle with them and not overstep personal boundaries.
