My yard and bed was made for dogs

My pup clients tell me that they feel so lucky to have found me. They will tell you that they feel totally at ease leaving their precious fur babies with me. Having fostered many dogs and having my own pack for many years I’m getting pretty good at recognizing different dog behaviours. I’m not a vet, nor a trainer but I have many years experience with many different kinds of dogs and I love them all like my own. I started growing my own pack when I was 24 then I was gifted (rehomed) my brother’s dog. Then a couple of years later I was gifted (rehomed) a client’s dog. These three became my world and so very sadly we lost our last fur baby in January of 2023. With broken hearts we find great comfort in taking in others’ dogs. They are invited on the couch and in our bed. Our very large back yard gives all dogs the space to RUN. I mean, run! Our fully and very tightly fenced yard is perfect for the best escape artists (as we had a small and very good one in our pack). My family spends tons of time outside and rest assured your pup will be with us. The pups we take in go home tired and fulfilled. How am I different from other pup sitters? You dog(s) sleep with me, in my bed, no kennel unless you request as part of your routine. As I work from a studio in my back yard they get to socialize with my clients and are rarely left alone. I provide endless bum scratches and pets while on the couch or bed. I do like to take multiple dogs at a time but only if I know the dogs will be a good match. This builds socializing and wears them out! I want the very best experience for everyone. I can’t wait to meet your pets!

Trish was wonderful! She gave me plenty of updates and pictures of Kilo, and I felt assured that he was in good hands. I will definitely be booking her for any future stays!

Trish was lovely to deal with - she was attentive and caring for our elder dog, and was kind f enough to give his meds daily. Charlie came home rested and settled. We loved the daily updates and appreciated her kindness 😊 Thank you so much!

Trish had great communication for planning and connecting while our dog was staying with her! As someone who had never used Rover, she was great at explaining the process. She has a great yard for the dogs to play in, and our dog really liked her! Will book again with her next time we need a sitter!

Schedule

I’m self employed and work out of a studio in my backyard. Pups are never left alone for more than an hour or two if any. I love pets but love sleep just as much. For this reason I can’t book pup drop offs before 9:00am on weekdays and 11am on weekends. For puppy daycare pups need to be picked up by 5:30.

Safety, trust & environment

I believe dogs are meant to be next to you. Your lap warmers on the couch and the tripping hazards in the kitchen. I love to scratch their bellies and smell their feet. They get my attention during the day and steal my bed at night.

A typical day

I love watching dogs play. I can watch them all day. I definitely have the space for that. I don’t always have multiple dogs at once but when I do, it’s great! When I don’t it’s me and my family out in the backyard throwing the ball and playing with them. My daughter inspires to be a dog trainer so she really loves spending time with them.

Until I get to know your dog it’s important to me to find out what things your pup likes and dislikes. Things I’d like to know before hand is bed time routines, sleeping habits, any allergies and any behavioural problems ie; food aggression or any aggression in general.
