As a pet sitter, my daily and weekly routine is quite flexible, but here's an overview of how pet care fits into my schedule: *Daily Routine:* - Morning: Check and respond to messages from clients, confirm appointments, and review schedules for the day. - Visits: Spend time with furry friends, following customized care plans, which may include feeding, walking, playtime, medication administration, and lots of love and attention! - Afternoon/Evening: Complete visit reports, update clients on their pet's activities, and share photos (because who doesn't love pet pics?!). - End of Day: Review the next day's schedule, prepare for upcoming visits, and wind down (often with my own furry companion by my side). *Weekly Routine:* - Client Meetings: Schedule meet-and-greets with new clients, discuss their pet's needs, and create personalized care plans. - Pet Care Tasks: Rotate toys, refresh supplies, and perform administrative tasks (like invoicing and bookkeeping). - Ongoing Education: Stay updated on pet care best practices, attend webinars or workshops, and expand my knowledge on animal behavior, health, and wellness. - Self-Care: Make time for activities that help me recharge, like exercise, reading, or spending time with friends and family. *Flexibility:* - Last-minute bookings or schedule changes? No problem! I adapt to ensure seamless care for pets. - Unexpected vet visits or emergencies? I'm prepared to handle situations with compassion and professionalism. *In Client's Home:* 1. *Familiar Environment*: Care for pets in their own home, reducing stress and anxiety. 2. *Customized Care*: Follow clients' detailed care instructions, ensuring consistency and familiarity for their pets. 3. *Home Comforts*: Maintain the pet's regular routine, including feeding times, sleep schedules, and play activities. 4. *Household Management*: Water plants, collect mail, and keep an eye on the home, providing added peace of mind for clients. 5. *Regular Updates*: Send clients photos, videos, and detailed reports, keeping them connected to their pets while away. By providing personalized, loving care in both my own home and clients' homes, I create a sense of security and comfort for pets, allowing them to thrive while their owners are away.
Pets
A typical day
Every morning dogs will go out around 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning! Then they'll eat breakfast and they will go out again. After lunch time we will go outside for a walk and have snuggles after we come back in. If your dog doesn't have any allergies They will receive a little treat every once in awhile while they stay with me. There are toys, two water bowls constantly filled and a couch they can sit on. When the evening comes they'll be fed, go out for potty breaks before and after dinner, have a little bit of play time and then usually time for bed by the time play time is over. ( i usually let them out one more time so so not worry at all about how much you're dog will get to go out because it will certainly be many times a day!)
