Your fur babies are my top priority
After 18 years of caring for other people’s pets as if they were my own, I can say I truly love my job! I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and even the occasional turtle. I am especially fond of small puppers because they give the best cuddles but I am a sucker for gentle giants as well. I specialize in caring for dogs with specific injuries such as IVDD (specifically in daschunds and corgies), sprained paws and legs, recently neutered and spayed pups, and pups recovering from allergies. I have experience working with rescue animals and many of the issues that may come with them as well. Special needs dogs and cats aren’t an issue at all. My care and love are flexible! I can sit and bond with your fur babies in the home while giving primo cuddles and care, or I can get outside and jog with your leashed pet and stop at the dog park for some active play. My availability is flexible, especially Friday- Sunday, but if you give advanced notice, I can flex my weekday schedule Monday-Thursday. I will walk, jog, feed, administer medication, monitor, play with, bathe, and groom your pup (nail clipping and fur trimming excluded). I have experience with working with animals who experience separation anxiety as well and can help keep them calm until you return! I will retrieve your mail and packages if you’d like, as well as put out your garbage on your specified trash pick up days. For housesitting and boarding requests, I ask for advanced notice of at least 5 days, but the more notice, the better. Meet and greets for these services are required. I want to make sure that your pup and I are a great fit and comfortable. It’s my pleasure and honor to care for your furry family members! I look forward to chatting with you and serving you!

Schedule
My schedule can be extremely flexible, especially if you reach out ahead of time. I can get booked up pretty quickly and may not always have your exact requested time slot available, but I try to get as close to what you need as possible. The more notice, the better!

Safety, trust & environment
At this time, I only accept pups 40 pounds or less into my home and they must be friendly with other dogs, as I own one small pup who is very friendly but keeps to himself when other dogs are present. Proof of common vaccinations is required to protect our fur babies health as well as yours. Your pup would be kenneled at bed time but is free to roam about during the day unless otherwise specified by you. We have a fenced backyard, a dog park nearby, and a no pets on the furniture policy. In a clients home, I follow your instructions to a T! The more detailed, the better! If your pets care is very simple and straightforward, then I just follow the rule of thumb and respect your space, keep it clean, and only step into common household areas.

A typical day
At your request, it would be my pleasure to take your fur babies to the nearest dog park where we can play with other adorable fur babies, fetch, take a long walk or run, or just relax and enjoy the scenery. Otherwise, normal playtime indoors and outdoors is what I do best! I love active pups and can keep up with them, but I also love pups who just like to take it easy and cuddle. Both are my love language!
