Top Dog Nanny - Stanford /Palo Alto
I've been a dog lover since I was a toddler and a Basset Hound lover at first sight! I am partial to hound dogs but simply love 'em all and have been a dog carer and lover for decades. Folks laugh when I tell them I'm really a dog in a woman's body! I am patient and quiet and kind - dogs usually trust me right away but if not, I calmly kneel down or sit on the floor until they approach for some admiration. That said, some dogs prefer to be admired from afar - that's fine too. I am quiet and calm. Normally, I visit pets in the Palo Alto area but on a month-long pet sit in St. Helena most of January. Someone's gotta do it and long-term (usually closer to home!) sits are welcome. I work/study/fiddle independently so am quietly at home most of the time both daytimes and evenings. Weekdays and weekends are all the same to me - I am a homebody and like hanging out with dogs who are easy going. I love to admire them and am happiest in the company of dogs!

I will hang out together with your dog, exercise and feed as directed, and will follow the guidelines you provide to keep the routine normal. In advance of signing on, we'll schedule a time for me to come over to meet you both in order to determine compatibility.

As always, Trina was great, took great care of our little pup, and left our house looking great.
Trina is lovely and a consummate professional.
Trina was once again wonderful with our two little dogs, including an elderly chihuahua who required more special care. I felt confident leaving them with her, which was a great help in itself. She sent helpful updates and photos, and we came home to happy, well cared for dogs and a tidy house.
As always, great to work with!
We were in town for a football game and didn’t want our dog alone in the hotel for hours. Trina helped out last minute! She is wonderful and kept Puddles feeling safe and comfortable while we were away. Didn’t have a worry in the world! Thank you so much Trina!

Dates de la garde
I am semi-retired tech professional and am a Stanford Continuing Studies student so I make my own schedule and lead a simple, happy, neat, well-organized life. My basset hound, Cubby, died in December 2022 so I need your dog as much as you all need me. I am happy to come to your home to spend time looking after or walking your dog.
