8 Dogs, a Camel & Counting!
With over 35 years of hands-on experience living and working alongside animals of all kinds, I've been blessed to share my life with 8 dogs; including my current rescue, Einstein, as well as 3 cats, 2 snakes, 2 birds, and a menagerie of frogs, toads, lizards, and tarantulas. My love for animals has taken me well beyond the home: I've worked on a farm and small petting zoo, helping care for goats, llamas, a camel, and ostriches, and I even earned extra money in high school washing dogs at a local grooming business. That early hands-on experience planted the seeds for a true lifelong passion. Beyond basic care, I enjoy helping dogs learn new tricks (you can teach an old dog new tricks, btw) - I've personally completed three dog training courses with my family dogs, and I love working with clients' pups on leash manners, sit/stay/down, and shake. Whether your pet needs a calm, caring companion or a little extra guidance, I'm here for all of it.

I never imagined I would find such an amazing person to help me take care of my dog. Trevor has been absolutely the most generous and kind caregiver for us. My dog is getting everything he needs and the guilt I have been feeling by not being home has been replaced with relief and happiness that my dog enjoys his time so much with Trevor!
Trevor is experienved with dogs so he was willing to watch my very nervous and scared dog while I was our of town for a week. Things went well overall during the stay. My dog and his dog got along well and played throughout the week. Communication throughout the week was good and I received regular updates.
Trevor provided great care for my dog during my trip. He was very attentive to my dog and caretaking instructions. Trevor was great with communication and flexible with his schedule. I plan to work with Trevor again, and I would recommend him to others.

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I work from home and set my own schedule, which allows me to be fully present and flexible for the pets in my care. Whether it’s morning walks around Lake Hodges, playtime in the backyard, or just providing company and calm throughout the day, I’m available to give your pet consistent attention and affection. My lifestyle makes it easy to accommodate feeding schedules, medication, and all the little things that help pets feel safe, loved, and at home.

At my home, pets are treated like family. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and plenty of room to play or relax in the sun. I live just one block from Lake Hodges, where I walk daily along the scenic trails and paths—perfect for dogs who love nature and adventure. The neighborhood is full of friendly dog owners, so your pet will be surrounded by a pet-loving community. Whether we're hiking the trails or curling up for quiet time, I provide a calm, caring, and attentive environment tailored to each pet’s needs and personality.

A typical day
I enjoy getting outdoors and being active with your dogs. I live next to Lake Hodges so we’ll get on the trail and explore all the smells, sights, and open space the lake has to offer. We’re a short drive to local parks and/or dog beach!
