I work from home, and other than a few set calls, I set my own schedule. And I work from a treadmill desk — so when I say I love walking, I mean it! I take frequent breaks to get sunshine and exercise outdoors, so you can expect your dog to get the same!

I can keep an eye on your dogs the entire time I have them! I have a fenced-in, upstairs deck (with a staircase that can be easily blocked). And a backyard that is NOT fenced, but where I could tie a leash around one of the deck supports, so your dog can be outdoors as much as they want! Inside, I have a fully hard, vinyl floor upstairs and a carpeted area downstairs, with vinyl flooring in the downstairs kitchen as well. So whichever surface your dog likes to sit on, I can accommodate!

If a dog is well trained, I can handle him or her, no matter how energy they have. But I'd love if you estimate for me exactly how energetic/playful your dog is. And, of course, if they have any special needs I should be aware of.
A typical day
We'll walk A LOT, and play catch with tennis balls and sticks if they're ok running off-leash around a non-fenced-in yard. There's a good running trail through the woods nearby (Bangert Island) that they'll love.

Pet care experience
I had a dog growing up (Hershey) and helped take care of him. And I have always enjoyed playing with friends' and family's dogs. I absolutely love walking and being outside and would love canine companions to encourage me to do it more! I've hosted one friend's dog at my place already (see pics; that's Georgia sleeping on her little doggy mat in my living room). Overall, lifelong love of dogs + good head on my shoulders = strong instinct for what they need and when.
