Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, personality, medical conditions, medications, allergies, behavioral triggers, and any special instructions. It’s also helpful to know how they interact with people, other animals, and new environments. The more I understand about a pet’s habits and preferences, the better I can provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience while maintaining the routine they’re used to at home.

A typical day starts with making sure pets have everything they need, including fresh water, meals, bathroom breaks, exercise, and plenty of attention. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and relaxed while their owner is away. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can stay informed. Fun activities depend on the pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, that may include walks, fetch, playtime, tug-of-war, basic training reinforcement, exploring new routes, and plenty of exercise. For cats, it may include interactive toys, laser play, feather wands, treats, enrichment activities, and one-on-one attention. My goal is to keep pets active, engaged, and happy while making sure they feel safe and cared for.
