I am a homeowner who's been laid off for a few months and with full disclosure, finding work in my field has been a challenge. I am an animator by trade, but also an office rat with corporate clerical experience. Most of my professional experience involved working from home. I am currently searching for a similar occupation, but will be sure to update this should I accept an onsite day job.

Safety, trust & environment
Fully fenced in back yard in a quite neighborhood. Its a smaller yard, but it is entirely enclosed with deer fencing. Deer are regular guests out back where there is a small patch of nature (wetland, can't be developed), but I put the deer fencing up to keep Kubo in. He's a bit of an escape artist, so this fence has been upgraded many, many times to thwart his catty ways.

Information Travis W. would like to know about your pet
It is important to know if they are kind to cats or comfortable around dogs. Are there any dietary restrictions or medications? Does your dog or cat chew or scratch furniture? Any information you have to share about your pet's quirks and personality would be welcome.
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks, and playing with a laser light or string with cats. If your dog likes to play catch, there are many local parks around and I can even throw the ball in my back yard. I have a wall with cat shelves so the kitty can be up high and judge while looking down on me.

I was raised by a cat named Buddah.
Pet care experience
When I was a young lad, I won 1st place in a dog agility competition in Tualatin, Oregon where I grew up. My family lived on 5 acres on a back road that connects Tualatin with Wilsonville; 65th ave. We always had cats, I'd say an average of 4. Sometimes less, sometimes more. We would also have 2 larger dogs, the dopey type like the huskies, goldens and the like, who would keep the coyotes at bay. Animals are part of my upbringing, and for me, a home isn't complete without at a minimum of a cat. Full disclosure, I am absolutely a cat man, but I respect and appreciate well behaved and chill dogs. My profile excludes large dogs but if you have a big boof of a mutt who's chill and good with cats, that dog is absolutely welcome at my home.

Reviews
I have known Travis his entire life. (Caveat: I'm his mom.) He grew up on rural acreage, with big dogs (usually 2 at a time) and also pet cats. He understands the value of kindness and training when working with dogs, and that it's important for dogs to have purpose and consistency to truly be content. He has always been gentle around animals, as he knows that cruelty breeds fear and aggression. When he was a boy, he had a collie that he did agility training with. That challenged both of them to communicate & work together. Travis also knows that dogs are pack animals and shouldn't be left alone for long stretches of time. If your dog needs a buddy while you're away, there's a fenced yard and a welcoming home available. You won't be disappointed.
Travis is my brother. Our entire childhood included at least one, but normally two, large dogs. He helped care for them, play with them, and train them. They were family, and he treated them as such.
