I am super alert and observant when providing care for a dog, whether it’s watching for potentially harmful things on the ground or an unleashed dog in a yard, I always have my eyes out for things our pets don’t know could be harmful.

I always find it helpful to know a dogs quirks ahead of time, like if they bark at loud noises or have other sensory issues. Is your dog the type to quietly get into mischief? Do they do something specific to indicate they want to go outside?
A typical day
I am a photographer and love working on getting the cutest and funniest pet photos while giving your dog plenty of exercise and attention during walks and play time. They will get plenty of sit and stay practice while I try to get them to pose :). I often have to limit myself on how many photos I send!

TIPS ARE APPRECIATED! My name is Travis and I have an 8 year old German Shepherd-Lab mix named Chase. I’m 33 years old and I hope to meet you and your dog(s) soon! I did Rover in the Pacific Northwest in the past, and we moved to St. Lawrence County a few years ago. I can provide 24 hour care in your home, as well as fun, attentive walks, and plenty of interactive play time for your pups! I will not have my dog with me for Rover services at your home. I have had dogs in the family since I was 5 years old. In middle and high school I did some dog sitting and walking for family friends on a regular basis. I also took a dog training class with my last dog, a Shetland Sheepdog, and know proper walking techniques and commands. I have experience with almost every common dog breed as well as their varying social issues and anxieties. I am thorough with following care instructions and routines. I keep my house and yard as dog friendly as possible and will do the same in yours. Most importantly I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own.

Travis. Originally came to our house for a meet and greet before we arranged for the dog walking service. Travis has now completed 3 dog walks with our young lab. Travis has very good communication skills, is friendly and reliable. Goose (the lab) enjoys his time with Travis :)
Nala is not always the bravest or most social dog and Travis was so patient with her during her stay! He sent lots of updates too. :)
