Experienced pet-owning family
We are an experienced pet-owning family. My partner and I each grew up with dogs. We each adopted animals straight out of college - she a cat and me a dog. Several years ago we had to say goodbye to the cat. Then recently our pup took her trip across the rainbow bridge. They each lived long and full lives (12 and 17 years). A lot has changed since we adopted those two - a house, a kid (now 10 y/o), career changes. We're not sure that we're ready to make another 10+ year commitment to a new pet yet, but we miss having pets in the house. We'd love to take care of yours as if they were one of ours! My partner and I both have hybrid work schedules so one of us is typically home a few days a week. When taking care of dogs we go out for walks twice a day, morning and evening. In between they can enjoy our back yard. We have a yard with a privacy fence (our doggo was able to climb chain-link fences!). We have a large neighborhood and we're used to walking at least once a day. If your dog is up for it I may even take it running with me!

Travis was phenomenal. We've worked with a lot of Rovers over the years--and host on Rover ourselves--and Travis was the best we've worked with! Thorough, conscientious, and accommodating in every way.
We remain very pleased with the pet care that Travis and Christine provided for our two Labrador-mixed retrievers. This is the second time we have used them for our pet care needs when we travel, and they will certainly at the top of our list for any new trips. We recommend them highly.
Travis and Christine provided exceptional care for our two dogs. They sent several pictures daily along with narrative on how the dogs were doing during their stay. I would certainly recommend them to others for their pet care needs.
Christine and Travis were absolutely wonderful. Not only were they willing to meet with me beforehand to discuss June’s preferences, routine, etc. but they went above and beyond to ensure June was comfortable and happy while we were out of town. I felt incredibly confident leaving June with Christine and, because of regular updates, didn’t have a second of concern the whole time we were gone. I’m so grateful and HIGHLY recommend Christine & Travis for anyone in need of a loving family for your dog!
Travis did a great job caring for our strong personality labradoodle for a week! Travis is very patient in encouraging him to eat, taking him for regular walks, & spending time with him at home. We’ll definitely work with him again.

Schedule
My partner and I both have hybrid work schedules so one of us is typically home a few days a week. We have typical family weekends usually revolving around our son's sports schedule.

We have a fenced yard and a nice neighborhood where we can take walks. We do have a two story house so if your pet struggles with stairs it might not be the best fit.
A typical day
We love the couch potatoes as well as high energy dogs! My son loves to play fetch with dogs. We also like taking dogs for a walk when the weather allows it.
