A family emergency required me to travel out of town and I needed a pet sitter quick. Of the ones I contacted through rover Tracy was the only one that was available. Well my sociable cat Stella Rose clearly DID NOT like Tracy. The hissing that Stella Rose usually reserves for the poking and prodding at the veterinarian she displayed for Tracy. Tracy however instead of giving kitty her space wanted to show her dominance over my cat by forcing herself on her and sleeping in my primary bedroom room where my cat usually feels comfortable and safe forcing kitty to go hide in the closet. For my Stella Rose the entire interaction with Tracy was stress inducing. The messages /photos I received from Tracy while away were frustrating for me. So much so I asked my realtor to check in on kitty because I wasn’t comfortable with this whole Tracy situation. When I arrived home I could tell things on my list of instructions were either not done, or not done properly. There was completely dried up can food left in her bowl indicating it had been there far longer than just in the morning. Two piles of vomit on my living room rug, the litter box not cleaned as instructed, food bowl not cleaned as instructed…let’s just say most things on the list were not done as instructed. Why drawers she had no business in were opened I have no Idea. Saying I’m not happy with Tracy’s service and treatment of my cat is an understatement. I absolutely would not use her again.
