Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life — I’m already caring for my own animals daily, so adding in visits or walks fits smoothly into my routine. I’m home often, I keep a flexible schedule, and I plan my day around the pets I’m responsible for. I structure my mornings and evenings around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins, and I leave plenty of space throughout the day for drop-ins, potty breaks, or longer visits. Because I’m used to caring for multiple animals, routines like fresh water, litter box upkeep, brushing, and medication aren’t something I “fit in” — they’re already built into how I operate. Whether it’s daily visits, weekend care, or a consistent weekly schedule, I make sure every pet gets dependable, unrushed attention. Pets truly are part of my everyday rhythm, so making them a priority feels natural and easy.

Safety, trust & environment

When I care for pets in someone’s home, I treat it with the same respect and attention I give my own space. I follow your routines exactly — feeding schedules, walking times, playtime, medications, bedtime habits — whatever helps your pet feel safe and comfortable. Here’s what you can expect from me: Routine & consistency: I stick to your rules, your schedule, and the way your pet is used to living. Cleanliness: I keep your home tidy — wiping paws, refreshing water bowls, cleaning up accidents, and keeping feeding/litter areas clean. Comfort & connection: I spend real time with your pet — not just quick in-and-out visits. That means playtime, brushing, cuddles (if they like that), or quiet company for shy pets. Safety first: Doors locked, alarms set, no windows left open, no escapes. I’m careful and very aware of safety. Daily updates: You’ll get photos, videos, and clear messages after each visit so you always know how your pet is doing. Respect for your home: Your space stays clean, secure, and exactly how you left it. My goal is simple: Your pet stays happy, relaxed, and well cared for — and you feel 100% confident while you’re away.

Information Tracy V. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your pet, I like to know all the little details that help me give them the best experience possible. Every animal is different, so the more I know, the better I can show up for them. Here’s what’s most helpful: Their routine: feeding times, walk times, preferred potty spots, and any daily habits they rely on. Personality: are they shy? Outgoing? Anxious? Independent? Velcro? Any quirks I should know? Triggers or fears: thunder, loud noises, other dogs, men with hats, certain sounds, vacuum, cleaners, etc. Behavior around strangers and pets: do they get along with other dogs or cats? Prefer space? Needs slow introductions? Medical needs: medication, joint issues, allergies, special diets, or anything I should watch for. Energy level: are we doing long walks, gentle, strolls, or mostly indoor play? House rules: furniture rules, crate, routines, treats, allowed, or not, training cues you’re working on. Escape tendencies: DoorDash, fence jumpers, curious cats who tried to slip out. All very important to know. Favorite things: toys, they love, treats they go crazy for, the way they like to be pet, or games they enjoy. Anything that makes them feel safe: blankets, routines, stuffed animals, sleeping spots, calming techniques, their favorite cozy space. My goal is to keep your pet happy, calm, and on their normal routine, so knowing these details, helps me make their time away from you as stress-free and comfortable as possible.

A typical day

I’m all about giving pets the kind of attention and enrichment. They actually enjoy, not just the basics. Every animal has their own personality, so I match the activity to what your pet loves most. I am open to pet owners whose pets would enjoy having me take them on a hike at Machine Falls in Tullahoma. Here are some things I do: Walks and sniff adventures: not rushed, real walks where they get to explore, sniff, and enjoy the world at their pace. Playtime: fetch, tug-of-war, chase the toy, laser, pointers, wand, toys, whatever gets their energy out. Cuddle time: if your pet is affectionate, I’m all in with belly, rubs, pets, and cozy snuggle sessions. For those overnight stays, I love it when the pet wants to sleep in the bed with me. Mental enrichment: puzzle toys, snuffle, mats, hide, and seek treats, gentle training, moments, find it games. Calming time: soft, brushing, slow petting, sitting quietly with shy or nervous animals so they feel safe. Outdoor time: if allowed, fresh air, sunbathing, supervised yard time, sitting outside together. Routine comfort: sitting with them while they eat, talking to them, keeping them companies so they don’t feel alone. I don’t just “watch pets”, I actually spend time with them so they feel happy, loved, and entertained while you were away.

Pet care experience

I’ve cared for animals my entire life — not just dogs and cats, but also rabbits and fish. Because of that, I understand a wide range of temperaments, needs, and behaviors. I’ve truly seen it all. I’m patient, calm, gentle, and very tuned in to how animals feel. I don’t rush them or overwhelm them — I let them build trust at their own pace. I’m great with: Senior pets who need slower routines and extra comfort Shy, anxious, or sensitive animals High-energy breeds (I’m a husky mom — I get it!) Multi-pet households Puppies who need structure and consistency Farm-type animals thanks to my experience with horses and goats I give every pet the same care and attention I give my own — with love, patience, and real presence. I provide detailed updates and photos so you always feel connected and confident while you’re away. I’m not just a sitter — I’m a lifelong animal lover with decades of hands-on experience and a genuine heart for every creature in my care.

Tracy is a God-send and my Brick just adores her. She is patient and loving and ready to make his day! Which makes mine! I needed her while I was out of town and she really came through. Definitely will be using her services even now that I'm home to keep my boy happy! Thank you, Tracy!

Tracy was absolutely fabulous to work with. If you have huskies or similar, she knows how to work with them. She showed up to our appointments on time and did a fantastic job. Our Huskies loved her and we are repete customers.

Tracy was amazing with my sweet boy Murphy. She takes care of him like her own child and spoils him. Takes him for walks, bushed him, give him approved treats. Tracy is very trustworthy and dependable. Will definitely use her again real soon!

Tracy has walked my husky for quite some time, nearly every day, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is truly excited about getting exercise with my boy and seeing the joy in his face when she comes around lights her face up too. He needs 45-min to one-hour walks each day and she wears him out by the time he returns. She also takes him hiking on some local trails and lets him play in the water in the stream and gives me lots of photos to show the fun he is having. I know she has lots of her own pets and not only has grown children of her own, but has been a pet mom for pretty much her whole life. I cannot recommend her enough!
