Availability
My Availability Retirement gives me a very flexible schedule, which means I can devote plenty of time to your dog rather than trying to fit pet care around a full-time job. I’m generally available throughout the week and can often accommodate different schedules and routines. I’m happy to discuss your specific needs and find a schedule that works well for both you and your pup. I also understand that plans can change, so communication is important. If you have a specific schedule or timing requirement, just let me know when you reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate it. My goal is simple: **you enjoy your time away knowing your dog is safe, happy, and getting plenty of love and attention.** ❤️🐶

Safety, trust & environment
🛡️ Safety, Trust & Environment Your dog’s safety and well-being will always be my top priority. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I take that responsibility seriously. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, leash requirements, crate time, and anything else that helps your dog feel comfortable and secure. I also pay close attention to doors, gates, crates, and other potential escape risks. I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Whether we’re out for a walk, playing in the backyard, or relaxing at home, I provide attentive and supervised care. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would expect someone to show mine. I’ll keep things clean and secure, make sure your dog has fresh water, and leave your home just as I found it. Most importantly, I believe trust is earned. I’ll communicate with you, keep you updated, and make sure you feel confident knowing your dog is in good hands. 🐾❤️

Information Tracy S. would like to know about your pet
🐶 What I’d Like to Know About Your Pet Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know a little about their personality, routine, and specific needs. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make their time with me comfortable, safe, and enjoyable. Some helpful things to know include: * 🐾 **Personality:** Are they shy, energetic, cuddly, independent, or a little mischievous? * 🍖 **Feeding:** What, when, and how much do they eat? Are there any food restrictions or allergies? * 🚶 **Exercise:** How much activity do they normally get? Do they enjoy walks, playing fetch, or backyard time? * 🏠 **Routine:** What does a typical day look like for them? * 💤 **Crate & alone time:** Are they comfortable in a crate? How long are they normally comfortable being alone? * 💊 **Medications & special needs:** Do they take any medications or have medical, mobility, or other special needs I should be aware of? * 🐕 **Behavior:** How do they react to other dogs, people, children, bicycles, squirrels, or other distractions? * 🦴 **Quirks & favorites:** Favorite toys, treats, games, sleeping spots, or anything else that makes them happy. * ⚠️ **Things to avoid:** Anything that scares them, makes them uncomfortable, or could cause a problem. * 📞 **Emergency information:** Your preferred veterinarian and the best way to reach you if something unexpected happens. And please tell me **anything you think I should know—even if it seems small.** You know your pet better than anyone, and those little details can make a big difference in helping them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.
A typical day
🐾 A Typical Day Since I’m retired, my days are flexible and I’m able to give the dogs in my care plenty of time and attention. There’s no need to rush through a visit or squeeze pet care between work commitments. A typical day might include a morning walk or potty break, some playtime, feeding according to your dog’s normal schedule, and plenty of attention and companionship. If your dog enjoys the backyard, we can spend some time outside playing or simply relaxing and enjoying the day. I like to keep a dog’s normal routine as much as possible. Some dogs want lots of exercise and play, while others are perfectly happy with a leisurely walk, some belly rubs, and a comfortable place to relax. I’m happy to follow whatever routine works best for your pup. Throughout the day, I’ll make sure your dog has fresh water, gets the attention they need, and is safe and comfortable. And of course, I’m happy to send you photos and updates so you can see what your pup is up to while you’re away. For me, pet care isn’t something I have to squeeze into my day—it’s something I genuinely enjoy being part of my day. ❤️🐶

Pet care experience
🐾 My Pet Care Experience I’ve had a dog by my side for my entire life until recently, so caring for dogs has always been a natural and important part of my life. Over the years, I’ve experienced the day-to-day responsibilities that come with being a dog owner—from feeding and walks to playtime, exercise, grooming, medications, and simply recognizing when a dog needs some extra attention or reassurance. Having dogs for so many years has taught me that every dog has their own personality, habits, and needs. Some are energetic and ready to play, while others are happiest getting some attention and curling up nearby. I’m comfortable adapting to each dog and following the routine their family has established. Most importantly, I understand that leaving your dog with someone else requires trust. I will treat your dog with the same patience, kindness, and care that I’ve given my own dogs throughout my life.
Reviews

Tracy was amazing with Holly, and Holly came back home so happy after her visit there. Tracy gave Holly her meds as needed, lots of attention and pets. I would definitely leave Holly with her again.
