Expert Care with a Loving Touch
I bring a lifetime of experience in caring for animals and live on 10 acres of wooded pastures with 3 horses, dogs, cats, and a house rabbit. My personal pack of four rescue dogs get along well with any new dog I introduce to the family. I have been fostering dogs for a local rescue organization for several years, gaining hands-on experience with many breeds and ages of dogs. I specialize in puppy care and training and have successfully provided basic training and care for numerous foster dogs. I have experience caring for elderly dogs and am skilled in giving medication and insulin. This is an all inclusive experience for dogs! Here your dog will enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor playtime in my private dog park which offers a peaceful setting away from any traffic noise. This is true farm privacy with a ten acre buffer and plenty of natural enrichment including a natural creek, pond, and wooded pastures. Dogs will have opportunities to participate in activities like sniff walks, barn exploring, and pack walks. For puppies I keep them on a schedule for potty training, socializing, and naps. Additionally, I have a dedicated small dog area and small dogs get to enjoy couch time in the evenings! All activities are included for the boarding price. If you desire an exit bath before your dog goes home please let me know. 🐾 I enjoy working on agility training with one of my dogs who is very athletic and to expand my training knowledge, I continue to work with local dog trainers. Beyond my work with animals, I raised two children and dedicated 18 years to volunteering in our local school district, where I passed multiple background checks and supported various programs and events in schools and classrooms. My property is quiet and away from any traffic yet located just a mile from a major highway making it easy to get to for drop off and pick up!

Tracy and her husband, Bryan provided exceptional care for our girls. They easy going with meet n greet along with our food instructions, I really appreciated getting photos along with story update of their time AND especially loved our conversation at pickup of multiple fun moments of the girls during their stay AND seeing the genuine joy of Tracy and husband having them. Tracy did a good job caring my dog. Her property is great for allowing dogs to enjoy themselves outside in a safe way. I especially appreciate the care and thoughtfulness in her approach for caring for my pup, I can tell she brings that same approach for any dog she watches.

Schedule
I am home everyday and spend most of my time with the animals in my care. I am happy to be flexible on timing for drop off or pick up windows and can pop in for drop in visits to give you a helping hand.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home pets will be fed twice a day and have off leash time to relax or play with friends. If they are crate trained they will have their own crate to retreat to and dog beds to rest on. My dogs enjoy meeting new friends and provide a comforting pack to show new dogs the ropes. Outside, I always work on name recall with new dogs on leash and when they get to know me they will have supervised off leash time. Additionally, your dog may enjoy a walk to our horse barn and discover a world of sensory enrichment for their nose! In your home I can play with and feed your kitty or your pups and provide any care they need and can feed on the schedule that you request.

A typical day
At the start of each day your dog will go outside to go potty and then have breakfast. The rest of the day they are given several opportunities to go outside to play and come back in the house at regular intervals. They will have time to try activities such as sniff walks and barn exploration if they choose. When tired, they have their own private space with a blanket to take naps. They will be offered treats or home made dog popsicles on hot days to spoil them a bit…and of course lots of love! On hot summer days I’ll break out the kiddie pool for some water play. Evenings include dinner and time to wind down for the night. In your home I can play with and feed your kitty or your pup and provide any care they need including walking on leash, ball/toy time and time giving special attention.

- Please let me know if your dog has any food sensitivities, special needs or behaviors that I should be aware of. If your dog is dog reactive, resource guarding with food, or pulls on the leash while walking please let me know so we can discuss best options for care. *At this time the following breeds will not be boarded in my home: Alaskan Malamute, Husky, Akita. Alternatively, I have an extra large Dog Suite in my barn set up with a sofa for dogs to sleep on. This is the only option I can offer to these breeds at this time. Dogs who stay in the extra large Dog suite will still have outdoor time, but will not interact with other dogs if they are dog reactive. There will be an additional $20 per night boarding fee for these breeds due to the more advanced handling they generally require. **When requesting boarding for dogs weighing 50 pounds or more their profile must list a breed of some kind and include a photo of the dog in their profile in order to be considered as a candidate for boarding here. 🐾
