Professional Dog Handler/Cat Sitter
As a profession I managed a very large animal shelter for 5+ years. I have extensive experience with timid, shy and fear based behavior in both dogs and cats. I am animal first aid certified with established experience delivering medication when required. I love providing care to special needs and senior dogs and cats. I currently own two dogs and one cat. Both dogs have behavior needs that include shy and timid behavior and exhibit leash reactivity on walks that require daily management. My cat is nine years old and a love bug. I provide her with daily enrichment with wand play and with her laser pointer. We have an "outdoor catio" that she spends time in to watch the birds and get fresh air. Our pets are our everything and I understand and respect the human animal bond in others.

My fee includes a 30 minute visit for feeding, walking or play/enrichment time. (These visits can be split up to include twice daily shorter visits as needed or when you are out of town- so lets discuss!). I recommend twice daily visits for canines and daily visits for felines based on your specific animal's needs.

Tracy always takes good care of Skipper. But this time, she went way beyond what a dog walker does. Skipper had stomach issues for a few days while we were away and Tracy provided me with detailed notes of his condition everyday. She suggested what Skipper should eat. She cleaned up his messes at my sister’s house where Skipper was staying even providing her own tools for cleaning. That’s way, way beyond my expectations. Best of all, Skipper loves his walks with Tracy and looked forward to it every morning. I am truly grateful I found Tracy and will forever remember everything she’s done for Skipper. She gives me peace of mind.

Schedule
I am available most mornings and evenings to visit with your pet in your home. I can offer daily AM/PM walks for your dog and daily AM/PM cat enrichment sessions as well as feeding and medicating as requested.

- I have experience with animal behavior and de-escalation techniques. I use positive reinforcement methods and or a balanced approach to reinforce any professional training your pups may have already received. It is important that we discuss your dogs past behavior, likes and dislikes and if they have received any professional training and the methodology used. If your dog or cats health history includes a chronic condition lets discuss past medical history and any medications so I can continue to provide exemplary care for your dog or cat in your absence.
