We both love animals and are very responsible and trustworthy. We can board your pup in our one bedroom apartment or at your home. All of my cat parents have had us stay at their home to prevent the cats being stressed in a new environment.

We are close to both the Queen Elizabeth Park and dog parks if you want your pet socializing. We are also close to four other parks for leashed walks. We would love to take care of your dog or cat and give the love, exercise, play time and comfort they need when they aren't with you. Our Sheltie; Heather passed away at 17 years. I haven't had the heart to replace her yet.

Information Tracy-Kim & Rod C. would like to know about your pet
All breeds are welcome in our home. The more we know about your pet the better. Such as: Dietary needs and feeding routine. Walking requirements how your dog is with other dogs and puppies If he/she likes a calm environment without other dogs or likes to play with other dogs How is your dog on leash and any unique behaviors we need to know Let us know what their routine at home is like and what they enjoy to make them feel more at home What kind of training have they had and what commands do they know Any quirks in your dog's behavior - is your dog reactive to other dogs or people? Does your dog bark a lot? Does your dog have separation anxiety? Is your dog fully potty trained? Does your dog have any allergies? Anything else you think we should know?
A typical day
We both are runners and would be very happy to take your dog running us! We also like to just relax and lie on the couch and cuddle for calmer, older doggies. We have also been known to take dogs cross country skiing with us up at Whistler Olympic Park (Callaghan) were there is dog friendly area !

Pet care experience
I am hard pressed to walk past an animal and not want to pet it :)) I became a Certified Vet Assistant in December 2015 but did not pursue that career. I discovered pet sitting and found my calling! What a perfect job! My education does serve me well for looking after pets and especially helps with animals who might have special needs or medication requirements. Ultimately I would like to get more education to be a Dog Behaviorist/trainer. My husband, Rod and I have been looking after other peoples's dogs and cats for the last 15 years or so. He works full time so I am with the animals most of the time although I do work part time which requires me to be away from the apartment for 2 to 4 hours at a time. We do our best to not let this happen very often as I feel stressed for the animals when they are left alone.
Reviews

Thanks very much for looking after our two senior dogs. Unfortunately the older of the two dogs had a problematic stay, but in our conversations Tracy-Kim always impressed me by showing that she cared for the dogs and had their best interests at heart. Highly recommended.
Tracy-Kim was great with our dog Oliver. He's diabetic and requires 2x insulin shots a day. She kept him cozy and happy while we were away! Thanks again.

Tracy-Kim took good care of our younger and elderly dog while we were away. This included the administration of our older dog’s medication and some special senior care. We felt at ease knowing the pups were in good hands. Tracy-Kim left our home neat and tidy too. Thank you!
Tracy-Kim and Rod are my go-to cat sitters. They are both knowledgeable, love animals and spend time with my cats vs just feeding them then and out the door in 5 minutes. They are responsible and just good people.
