Pet care experience

Pampered Pooch- stress free care

Our business has been booming with referrals and friends/family requests. Since dogs bring so much joy to life, I am dedicating more time to open bookings to new pets. I am a dog lover for a lifetime. As a kid, I would care for strays. As an adult, I have had a dog in my life for the past 30 years- I have adopted 3 full grown, mature labs from various shelters and they all had a great, long life! My current Lab is our sitting “mascot” and she welcomes all dogs to our homestay center. She was an adoptee from an elderly couple. My young adult son & dog-lover is a great co-host to care for and play with your pet. Pets are like family here and they will be loved, cared for and respected. We will give play, attention, exercise, love and create a setting where your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. We should do a meet and greet with our dogs prior to first boarding. The yard here is fully fenced, but I only let dogs out in the yard with supervision. I will give walks/hikes, as you like. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home!

We were going to Europe for 10 days and didn't want to leave our 5 year old black lab, Hazel, in a kennel. We found Tracy on Rover and decided she was right because she had a history owning labs. Tracy was wonderful! Her dog Lucy, also a lab, became fast friends and Hazel was very comfortable in her home. Nice large fenced in yard in quiet neighborhood. Her son Grayson also loved taking care of Hazel. We would highly recommend Tracy for any boarding needs, short term or longer term as was our case.

My little dog is shy around other dogs, and Tracy has a big lab. Tracy was careful to integrate Shadow and be attentive to her reticence and I appreciate that! She sent me photos during Shadow's stay so I could see she was content. We had a meet and greet before Shadow’s stay and it was a good intro. I am pleased with Tracy’s care and recommend her

Tracy and her son took great care of our puppy while we traveled. She kept me updated and stayed on top of her puppy routine. She was good at communicating. We were so grateful to come home to a happy, healthy and well-cared for puppy!

Schedule

Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised.

My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.

A typical day

The pups here have a built-in pal in our resident Lab who gets along with all. Dogs really respond to a home-stay with a dog companion in residence. Lots of yard play, walks in quiet streets and trails.

Tracy can host up to 4 pets per night
Let’s meet and greet before your pup’s stay. I will need your vet records and all dogs must be up to date on shots and kennel cough medication. Let us know a bit about your pups personality and preferences. We are great at communicating and bonding with them. Every dog we have hosted has unique and special personalities, and we love and appreciate them all.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
