I have 19 years of experience working in the Assistance Dog industry as a trainer, and a lifetime of experience caring for animals. Over the past couple of years I have started my own pet care business and this is what I do full time. My greatest joy comes from working with dogs!! I am passionate about genuine connection and high quality care for all animals. I believe all animals deserve to be treated with patience and kindness. I focus on building trust and allowing the bond to develop organically. I’m happy to walk, cuddle, and hang out with your pooch, and do active training sessions using positive reinforcement methods. When I’m working with any animal, I go above and beyond to ensure they receive both physical and mental stimulation while always prioritizing their safety and well being!

Amazing First Boarding Experience We cannot say enough wonderful things about Tracy! ❤️ Our one-year-old pup, Summer, had her very first weekend away from home, and we feel incredibly fortunate that Tracy was the person caring for her. From the moment we booked, Tracy was so responsive, accommodating, and quick to answer all of our questions, which immediately put us at ease. Tracy took exceptionally great care of Summer and treated her like she was one of her own. She kept us updated throughout the entire weekend, sent us so many wonderful photos, and was incredibly communicative about how Summer was doing. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was happy, comfortable, and being so well cared for. 🐶❤️ Summer clearly had an amazing time and came home happy and content! It was such a relief knowing that her first time away from us was such a positive and loving experience. We are so grateful to Tracy for taking such wonderful care of our girl. She went above and beyond in every way, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, communicative, and genuinely wonderful to care for their pet. We will definitely be booking with Tracy again!

Tracy was amazing with my two cats, coming at the same time every day for five and a half weeks. The medication was extremely well managed, as were their differing nutritional needs and litter box issues. I really appreciated the daily updates and pictures! The cats were happy, and obviously very well cared for upon arriving home. Tracy clearly enjoys her work and is a passionate pet sitter, who I highly recommend!!
I can’t recommend Tracy enough! She took care of my two cats for almost two months while I was away, and I felt completely at ease knowing they were in her care. One of my cats requires daily medication and has a sensitive skin condition, so attention to detail was really important. Tracy followed all instructions carefully, kept me updated, and handled everything with a lot of care and patience. She was also very observant and flagged small changes early, which I really appreciated. It gave me a lot of confidence that my cats were truly being looked after. I’d absolutely trust her again in the future!!

Schedule
I’m available throughout the day for walks/drop in visits, playtime, and snuggles. Please note that lunchtime walks are a high demand time and I have limited availability. If you request walks between 11:00-1:00pm your dog needs to be comfortable walking with up to two other dogs. Private walks/drop-in visits are available outside of these hours. For boarding I am home at various points throughout the day. Caring for pets is my full time job so I have some dog walking appointments throughout the day (mostly at lunchtime). Your dog needs to be okay to be left alone for 2-4 hours. My sitting rate includes 3-5 walks a day depending on your dog’s energy levels of course! I live right by the lake and I love going out for long walks. My standard of care is extremely high and I will treat your pet like they are my own!!

I will be consistent with any house rules you have implemented regarding expected behaviour (like four paws on the floor)! Your dog’s safety and well-being is of the utmost importance to me. Your dog will always be on leash when we are outside unless we are in a securely fenced area. While indoors your dog will receive tons of affection from me (if they enjoy that) and I’m more than happy to snuggle on the couch if that’s what they are used to doing with you!!! I currently live in an apartment on the top floor of a triplex so your dog must be okay with a short flight of stairs, be quiet, crate trained/or non destructive, must not have separation anxiety, and must be friendly with people and other dogs. I have 2 spots available for boarding so your dog needs to be able to get along with another dog in the home environment.
A typical day
I love to engage dogs in a fun and positive way. I understand that it takes time for some dogs to trust new people so I like to take things slowly. Of course, once I’ve learned what your dog’s favourite things to do are, whether it’s throwing the ball, going for walks, learning new tricks, or engaging in problem solving games, then I will cater to their preferences.

- Let me know if your dog has any allergies, behavioural issues, treat preferences, or special needs. I often have multiple dogs boarding at the same time so all dogs must be healthy, have proof of vaccinations/preventative medications, and be friendly with dogs and people.
