I do have a full-time job during the day but I work from home so I can do drop in visits during my lunch break and can easily walk dogs and do longer visits when my normal workday is over. My weekends are usually fairly busy with friends, family and chores around the house but I may be able to squeeze in drop in visits and walks on the weekends. Flexibility is key so let me know what I can help with!

A typical day

For high energy dogs, I think the key is to get plenty of exercise. Examples include playing ball or stick if the dog is trained in recall or you have a fenced in yard or simply walking around the neighborhood and checking out all the scents from wildlife and other neighborhood pets. For dogs with a little less energy, a good belly rub session may be the best way to go. I will Taylor each visit to the pet and their activity levels.

Pet care experience

I am an empty nester who is looking forward to getting some more exercise and helping busy families with some of the daily grind of pet care. I have three rescue dogs and a cat right now and overall I have rescued 13 animals. My friends and neighbors do not hesitate to ask me to help take care of their pets when they are away. My very first job as a teenager was working at a kennel and I loved it.

Tracy is fantastic! She gave us updates on every visit along with pictures. She obviously cares about animals a great deal. Our dog was looking for her when we got home. :) I highly recommend her.

Tracy is always so great with Logan! We appreciate the time she takes with him. We always get great pictures and info about her visit. She’s thoughtful about his age and goes his pace!

Tracy is a very nice, punctual, good with detail oriented person. Having a dog who is epileptic (seizures) can be very stressful at times, especially going on vacation. But finding that right person can make everything feel at ease. I would not hesitate to use her again in the future.
