Flexible days full of play and love

Pet care experience

I've loved animals all my life and have owned several as a kid. I've watched countless animals over the years, from cats to dogs to hamsters (and even kids ;) ), and have been asked back every time. Recently I was able to have my own dog as an adult and I understand how challenging it can be to find reliable care for him when I'm away. Fortunately, I am self-employed and work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I don't like to leave animals alone for more than 6 hours. They need company and activity, just like us! My dog is spoiled with lots of love and attention. I prefer to watch dogs overnight in my own home, but I can spend weekends at a client's house on occasion. If your dog is pretty calm and not too rambunctious (for my more timid dog), I'm happy to share my home! If yours is small and rambunctious, that might be okay with him too. Either way, I'd want to meet up and make sure we're a good fit! I will take any dogs that are well-behaved (even if not crate trained for night time), as long as they are good with Chex! I'm a photographer, so I'll be taking lots of photos to share with you. Some might be with my phone, but I always have it close at hand. I will also update you often, because that's what I would want! I'll treat your dog just like my own. :)

Tracie has cared for our 3 dogs on several occasions and has always proved to be a conscientious and loving caregiver. She is attentive to their physical well-being and also keeps them engaged and happy with frequent play sessions. She is careful to keep our regular feeding times (and amount of food served) intact. I wholeheartedly recommend her for your pet-sitting needs!

Tracie is joy only an animal lover and big hearted, she is also responsible and reliable. She can be trusted to take care of pets and to follow any specific instructions. I would hire her to care for my own pets and highly recommend her to others.

Tracie took great care of our dog while we were out of town. She sent us pictures and video regularly so we could see what Misty was up to and that she was having fun. Tracie took extra time to get to know Misty and make sure she was comfortable in her home and with her dog prior to our trip. Tracie has a dog friendly home and it shows that she loves taking care of dogs. I will definitely have Tracie watch Misty again.

Information Tracie H. would like to know about your pet

I don't discriminate breeds, but size usually does matter since my dog tends to be fearful of larger dogs than himself. Fortunately, he is about 65 lbs and many dogs are smaller or about the same size. I also would need to know their play style since my dog hates the rough and tumble play. He loves to play tug and chase, but not get pounced on or tackled. No touching is the rule for him, unless it's very soft or a slobbery kiss. I'd like to know if they are escape artists! It's good to be aware of that! I'd like to know what rules they know and if they know any commands.

A typical day

If your dog loves daily outings, we'd either go to Willis Tucker Park for some off-leash play time or maybe on a little hike at Lord Hill Park. On longer stays, maybe we could tackle a longer hike or go for a swim. It all depends on what works for your dog and their comfort level... also whether or not they come back to be leashed up. ;)
