Information Tracey M. would like to know about your pet

Every dog is an individual, and the more I know before their stay, the safer and more comfortable I can make their experience. Before caring for your dog, please let me know about their: • Age, breed, size, and energy level • Normal feeding, potty, walking, and sleeping routine • Current medications, allergies, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions • Vaccination status and any recent illness • Crate/kennel experience and whether they experience separation anxiety • Behavior around unfamiliar people, children, dogs, or other animals • Leash behavior, pulling, reactivity, or escape tendencies • Resource guarding involving food, toys, treats, furniture, or people • Any history of growling, snapping, biting, fighting, or aggressive behavior • Fear triggers such as thunderstorms, fireworks, grooming, handling, vehicles, or being left alone • Commands, routines, boundaries, and household rules they already understand • Favorite activities, toys, treats, and anything that helps them feel comfortable Please be completely open about behavioral concerns. Reactivity, anxiety, fear, or previous incidents do not automatically mean I can't care for your dog. Knowing beforehand allows me to prepare the environment and handle your dog appropriately. With my professional canine handling and behavior experience, I'm comfortable discussing dogs who may require more structure or management. Safety comes first, so I carefully manage introductions and never assume unfamiliar dogs should automatically interact. For new clients, I strongly prefer a Meet & Greet whenever possible. This gives me an opportunity to meet your dog, learn their personality and routine, answer your questions, and make sure we're a good fit before their stay. The goal isn't to find the "perfect" dog. It's to understand your dog so I can provide the safest, most comfortable and individualized care possible. 🐕❤️

A typical day

What a Typical Day Looks Like Every dog settles into a calm, structured routine designed to feel as close to home as possible. Because I only care for a small number of dogs, I can tailor each day to your dog’s personality, energy level, and individual needs. ☀️ Morning (6:00–8:00 AM)
The day begins with a potty break and a leisurely walk or supervised outdoor time. After everyone has had a chance to stretch their legs, breakfast is served according to your dog’s normal feeding schedule. Fresh water is always available. 🐾 Mid-Morning Enrichment
After breakfast, dogs enjoy supervised play, sniffing games, enrichment toys, short training sessions, or simply relaxing outdoors. Dogs are always grouped by compatible size and temperament. If your dog prefers one-on-one attention or quiet time, that’s exactly what they’ll receive. 🌿 Outdoor Fun Throughout the Day
Dogs have access to frequent outdoor breaks—typically 5 to 10 times each day—in my fully shaded, Astroturf backyard. Many enjoy running, playing, exploring, lounging in the shade, or cooling off on the splash pad. 😴 Afternoon Rest & Individual Time
Just like children at daycare, dogs benefit from downtime. After play and enrichment, everyone enjoys a peaceful rest in comfortable indoor spaces. Some nap in cozy beds, while others relax in their own secure area. Every dog receives individual attention throughout the day, including cuddles, brushing, or quiet companionship. 🎾 Evening Activities
As the weather cools, dogs head back outside for more exercise, potty breaks, and supervised play. Depending on your dog’s needs, this may include light training, leash walks, fetch, enrichment games, or simply relaxing with the family. 🌙 Bedtime Routine
Dinner is served according to your dog’s schedule, followed by several evening potty breaks. Before bedtime, everyone enjoys a calm wind-down so they can settle in comfortably for the night. Dogs sleep in a safe, climate-controlled environment with plenty of supervision and comfort. Throughout your dog’s stay, you’ll receive photos, videos, and personalized updates so you can see exactly how much fun they’re having. My goal is for every dog to leave happy, relaxed, and excited to come back for their next visit.

Professional K9 Experienced,

Pet care experience

I’m Tracey, an experienced canine professional offering more than basic pet sitting. My background includes professional dog training, obedience work, behavior management, structured canine care, and experience working with everything from family companions and puppies to large, powerful working breeds. My qualifications and experience include: 🐾 Professional canine training & obedience experience 🐾 Behavior modification and canine body-language knowledge 🐾 Experience with Belgian Malinois and other working breeds 🐾 Experience assisting with police/working-dog training 🐾 Positive-reinforcement and relationship-based handling techniques 🐾 Leash manners, impulse control, engagement & disengagement skills 🐾 Puppy and adolescent dog experience 🐾 Experience with high-energy, reactive, and strong dogs 🐾 Canine First Aid/CPR knowledge 🐾 Service-dog and public-access training experience 🐾 Professional grooming and animal-care experience What really makes my care different is structure, safety, supervision, and individualized attention. Dogs in my care enjoy a secure, fully privacy-fenced backyard with artificial turf, plenty of shade, supervised outdoor time, walks, enrichment, affection, and an organized daily routine. Dogs are never left outside unattended, and interactions between dogs are carefully managed based on temperament, comfort level, and safety. I understand that every dog walking through my door is different. Some want to play and explore. Others need time, space, predictable routines, and a calm person who understands what their body language is saying before they ever bark, growl, or become overwhelmed. I’m comfortable following your dog's established routines, feeding instructions, crate schedule, medication instructions when appropriate, exercise requirements, and household rules. I also provide owners with photos, videos, and updates, because you shouldn't have to wonder what your dog is doing while you're away. Whether you have a playful puppy, senior companion, Standard Poodle, German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, doodle, giant breed, or a dog who simply needs a more knowledgeable handler, my goal is the same: Give your dog professional-level care while making them feel safe, understood, and at home. Your dog isn't just another booking on my calendar. They're an individual with their own personality, routine, boundaries, and needs, and that's exactly how they'll be treated. 🐕❤️
