The Dog House Retreat
I have over 30 years experience with dogs and enjoy being around them every day. You can be assured that your beloved pet will get cuddles and the best care you would expect. They will feel at home and feel secure while you’re away. I’ll give you updates via texts and photos should you want them, so you’re kept up to date with your dogs activities and chill out times. I’m happy to take on board any dietary requirements and together with their beds/blankets so your dog feels happy to be with me. I require for your dog to be neutered and up to date with their vaccines so we have no medical issues that may arise. Vet details and emergency contacts will be taken for your record.

I have knowledgeable Tracey Hayford for many years. She loves dogs, has had dogs herself for most of her adult life. She has trained them successfully from being puppies. She has undertaken training to extend and further her knowledge, ability and skill in dealing with dogs. Tracey is a responsible mature adult who would take all necessary and appropriate steps to ensure any dog in her care would be safe, disciplined with love and appropriately cared for. She would follow all the instructions of dog owners, and keep them updated regularly with messages and photos as they wish. She would adhere to feeding times and instructions for food etc. She can be trusted to give any medication should this be necessary. Tracey is reliable and can be trusted with precious pets. She is aware of 'dog first-aid', and will be calm and efficient in any situation. I would trust Tracey to look after my dogs without hesitation and I believe she will be an asset to your organisation.
Tracey loves dogs, all kinds. She is a responsible knowledgeable doggie person. Having grown up with them, and knowing exactly how to care for them.
Our dog had a great stay with Tracey. Tracey looked after her very well and sent us texts and pictures so we could see that she was happy. We were very pleased and really appreciated the care and affection given to her. We would certainly recommend Tracey. Thank you very much.
Tracey was fabulous! She took great care of our dog Millie. She sent us frequent updates while we were away. Millie clearly had a great time with Tracey and her dog Lotte. We will definitely ask Tracey to take care of Millie again. Highly recommended.

Schedule
I’m retired which make my days flexible and enjoyable. My dog always comes first as he’s a major part of my life. He’s easygoing and loves to play with visiting dogs, so there are no worries when staying with us.

I have a fenced and secure back garden. They have a run of the downstairs only and there are no choking hazards. Safety is my priority.

A typical day
I love to stimulate the dogs in different parks and walks so they have lots of smells and social experiences. They have a treat on return and a lovely warm place to have post walk nap.
