There aren't too many things that can put a smile on your face as easily as animals can. I am THAT person - the one who will ask permission to pet your dog. I have had pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, parakeets, and fish) on & off since I was a toddler. We had one of our dogs from the time he was 6 weeks old and the others were rescued at ages ranging from 1-4 years old. I also have experience working as an assistant in a vet hospital, so I am familiar, and comfortable, with all breeds. I am willing and able to administer oral medications. We lost our last dog in 2014 and have not been able to bring ourselves to get another dog. My husband and I are empty nesters who relocated to DE in 2019. While she was in college, my oldest daughter pet sit (via Rover) to earn extra money. She suggested I try Rover because she knows how much I love animals and that I am in need of that pet “fix”. I am very flexible and will work with your schedule to meet the needs of you and your pet(s). I will respect your home and your property by leaving them in the same condition they were in when I arrive. I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own - with love and compassion. I would be honored to be given the opportunity to meet you and your pet(s) and to be trusted with his/her care.
