Responsible and reliable pet lover!
There aren't too many things that can put a smile on your face as easily as animals can. I am THAT person - the one who will ask permission to pet your dog. I have had pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, parakeets, and fish) on & off since I was a toddler. We had one of our dogs from the time he was 6 weeks old and the others were rescued at ages ranging from 1-4 years old. I also have experience working as an assistant in a vet hospital, so I am familiar, and comfortable, with all breeds. I am willing and able to administer oral medications. We lost our last dog in 2014 and have not been able to bring ourselves to get another dog. My husband and I are empty nesters who relocated to DE in 2019. While she was in college, my oldest daughter pet sit (via Rover) to earn extra money. She suggested I try Rover because she knows how much I love animals and that I am in need of that pet “fix”. I am very flexible and will work with your schedule to meet the needs of you and your pet(s). I will respect your home and your property by leaving them in the same condition they were in when I arrive. I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own - with love and compassion. I would be honored to be given the opportunity to meet you and your pet(s) and to be trusted with his/her care.

I will treat your pet(s) as if he/she were my own. For drop in visits, I will provide a potty break and as much love & affection as your pet needs/allows. For walks, we will walk as far as time allows. During extended stays, I will provide frequent potty breaks as well as multiple walks and lots of love.

We take Ben, our yellow lab, with us everywhere. He has not left my side since he was a puppy. Tracey is the first person we trusted to take care of Ben. Although I was extremely anxious about leaving Ben, from the moment I met Tracey, I knew he was in great hands and with someone who really cares for animals and understands how much we love our companions. She was very calm and patient with "very joyful-high energy" Ben:) Tracey is dependable and really followed through with the care plans we discussed. Her communication while we were away, was very reassuring and the photos she sent really brightened our day! Thank you Tracey! Ben looks forward to seeing you again soon!

Schedule
I am available every day of the week and occasionally on weekends. I have a few regular clients during the week but am definitely hoping to book more who need drop ins or walks multiple times per week, on weekdays!

- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs. Is your dog very excitable or is he/she a bit timid? How well does your dog do on walks - does he/she pull on the leash? How will your dog react if he/she sees another dog or other animal(s) Is your dog afraid of other animals, or of anyone or anything?
