I own my businesses and work from home, so while I have regular online client meetings, my days are fairly flexible. I am home most of the time.

I live in a condo in a quiet, clean complex. It's very green and dog-friendly. Your dog would be the only animal in my home (unless you have more than one dog or there is a pre-arranged agreement). If it is your dog's first stay with me, I will be home the vast majority of the time. As they get more comfortable, I may leave for up to several hours to run errands. However, if I am watching your dog, I am making a commitment to you both, so taking care of your pet is my #1 priority.

Information Tracey D. would like to know about your pet
Please share if your dog has leash reactivity, allergies, handling sensitivities, or separation anxiety. I’m happy to work with pups who need a little extra care. I just like to be prepared! Please ensure you have a completed, up-to-date Rover profile for each pet.
A typical day
I have a lovely complex for mini-walks and live in a quiet neighborhood near the Los Gatos Creek Trail. I enjoy going for daily walks, and having a companion with me is always nice! Your dog's sleeping arrangement I allow dogs on my bed, but I will adhere to any rules you have for your dog. If they sleep in a crate at home, they will sleep in a crate here. If they sleep on your bed, they will sleep on mine. :) Small dogs are easiest in my condo, but I will always have a soft spot for the giant breeds. If your dog doesn't fit my stated requirements but you think would fit in well, please just reach out, and we will see what we can work out. I am happy to take two dogs from the same household.

Certified Professional Dog Trainer
Pet care experience
Offering boutique, premier care for your Silicon Valley dog! I bring over a decade and a half of professional animal care experience to every dog I look after. For over nine years, I was the Director of Operations at one of the South Bay’s most respected dog daycares, overseeing hundreds of happy dogs each week. I’m a Certified Trainer and Counselor through the Academy for Dog Trainers, a Certified Kennel Operator, a former Certified Professional Dog Trainer–Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), and pet first aid and CPR certified. I also hold a degree in Wildlife Biology with a minor in Zoology. I’ve worked in Colorado and California animal shelters, giving me deep insight into canine behavior, health, and welfare. Whether your pup is with me for daycare, boarding, or housesitting, they’ll receive personalized, compassionate care tailored to their unique personality and routine. I’m highly experienced with senior dogs, medical needs, and mobility challenges, and I’m comfortable administering oral and sub-q medications. Every dog in my care is treated like family, with safety, enrichment, and genuine affection at the heart of everything I do. You’ll receive regular updates and plenty of photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. Your dog deserves more than basic care. They deserve boutique care from a seasoned, certified professional who truly loves what she does.

Reviews

Tracey was communicative as usual. Ollie has been going to her for quite some time now, so they have a wonderful routine together.
Yuuki had a good time with Tracey. While this was his first stay and he usually needs a day or two to settle in a new place, Tracey handled him patiently and allowed him the space and time to acclimate. Tracey also communicated updates timely and shared pictures during his stay.

Ollie has been going to Tracey for about two years now. He’s very comfortable with Tracey and seems to settled in right away when he’s there. Throughout the years, Ollie’s health has declined a bit but Tracey is always great and communicative throughout his stay.

Repeat stay with Tracey and we did boarding instead of a house stay. Tracey is an absolute professional and makes us feel so safe and at ease while Pierre is with her! Her frequent updates and even training tips are always a bonus. We are so blessed to have found Tracey as a trusted sitter who we will now go to as our first choice any time we have a trip in the future!
