Boarding (in my home) clients: Your pet may be left crated for up to 3 hours at a time while I am at training appointments or on errands but in general I am home more than I am out. House Sitting Clients: (I come to your home) Please let me know what your pets are used to, schedule wise. I do my best to match the schedule they’re use to as it pertains to bathroom outings and their meals. Also let me know your desires for how much time I spend at your house. I find this varies wildly from family to family, so do let me know your family’s needs when you request your dates.

A typical day

Walks around the neighborhood are perfect for letting dogs do one of their all time favorite activities, using their nose! We’ll also spend 10-15 min a day doing whatever your dog loves be it fetch, tug, frisbee, or hide and search games. If your pup isn’t into any of these classics then we’ll do a puzzle or training game to use up some mental energy to leave them just as tired.

Loving Animal Trainer

Pet care experience

Hey Pet Parents, My name is Tovah and I can’t wait to meet your fur babies and give them the best care possible! I graduated from the prestigious Academy for Dog Trainers in 2017 as I spent 6 months working for a high volume doggie daycare/boarding facility in Atlanta, GA. There I got hands on experience with all types of personalities and breeds, big, small, giant and tiny. Drop-In Visits and House sitting: The safety of your pet and security of your household will be top my primary. I’m all too familiar with the headaches and sometimes heartaches that can result from hired help leaving a door unlocked or a gate unlatched. Attention to these details along with giving your pet the love and attention (or space) they crave is what I pride myself on. I’m also comfortable taking on other household tasks such as watering plants or bringing in mail and packages as requested. What sets me apart: I graduated with honors from the rigorous, Academy for Dog Trainers, earning my credentials as a CTC. I’m also a certified Fear Free Animal Trainer. While training might not be the primary goal, you can rest assured that with my extensive background in animal behavior there will be ZERO training tactics used on your dog that elicit fear or pain. Caretakers often use intimidation and fear unknowingly in an attempt to get dogs to cooperate and this can be very stressful. Any training we do will be fun and aim to ease the stress from being away from home. Fido might just come home with a silly trick you can show off to your friends. We can’t wait to meet you and welcome your beloved pet for a fun visit at our house! See you soon.

We called Tovah to train us with a new pup so we were very comfortable leaving Zoey. Zoey was content when we left and upon return. We’ll return!

I felt our dog was in good hands while I was on vacation in Branson MO. I was taken aback by the clutter in the homd.
