I have experience working with reactive dogs- I'm a great fit for walks with reactive pups. I also have cared for cats and dogs for over 22 years including training and playing with both species. Additionally, I have done drop ins for many dogs and cats while owners are away. I'll get your pup tired and happy so that when you come home they are excited to see you! For your cat, I’ll be patient and encourage them to feel confident with me. I truly love animals. I wanted to be a vet when I was young and that transitioned to taking reactive training courses from two separate trainers for my own dog. I'm patient and will maintain your dog's training (as long as you tell me what that is). I look forward to hearing from you and I know we can create a great relationship. Our puppy, Bogie, is so excited when he gets to spend time with Torie! He just wiggles all over! We feel confident leaving Bogie with Torie because she’s so nice and competent and follows any instructions we might give her. She’s also helped us out on short notice which we’ve really appreciated.

I have a reactive dog and a cat so I am very versed with environmental impacts. I’m aware and patient; I will redirect your dog from tense situations and support your cat to feel confident to come out for attention. My intention is to build confidence with your animals!

A typical day
For walks with dogs, I love to focus on engagement with pups. Smelling is so good for their mental health! I’ll vary the route and be sure to give them a treat each time I see them. For cats, I’ll encourage them to come out for pets by being patient with them and offering treats and toys.
