I work roughly 1 week on, 1 week off, so I am available all day every day when I am not at work. My fiance, who is also a big cat & dog lover, works from home & has a very flexible schedule so between the two of us we would be able to accomodate most schedules your pet may need!

I have two cats in my home, they live a very happy life, spoiled some may say! If your dog is staying with us, we have a fenced yard, and have a lovely walk-friendly neighborhood here in Kanawha City where we can get lots of exercise. If we are staying in your home or mine, I will do whatever makes you the most comfortable & stick your pets' routines!

A typical day
As an outdoor enthusiast & nature lover, my favorite way to spend walks is hiking on trails & out in the outdoors! This gives the pups & me a whole new world to explore & keeps their little paws safe from the hot concrete!

Pet care experience
Along with being a self-diagnosed obsessed dog lover, I have owned & raised my dog, Wesley, & my two cats Tachy & Brady, since they were each 8 weeks old! Throughout this time, I have learned how to be the most caring & loving dog & cat owner! Wesley has a few health problems (severe allergies, ear infections, torn doggy ACLs, & multiple surgeries) which has given me the opportunity to learn about caring for dogs with special needs & considerations! I am also a physician assistant in cardiac surgery, so medicine & caring for others is in my nature! All in all, I love doggos & cat friends (sometimes more than people), so I have learned first hand what it takes to keep the furry friends happy! :) I also love being outside & active, so you can guarantee we will get plenty of exercise!

Tori was amazing! She was able to accept my booking for drop in visits on short notice, and even accepted an impromptu extra visit that allowed me to extend my stay. Highly recommended. 10/10 Will return.

My regular boarding place doesn't take dogs under 9 months old, and I had only had my 4 month old puppy less than a week when I learned I had to go out of town to visit a sick family member. I found Tori here and sent a message at 10:30 pm as a long shot. She responded THAT night! She was flexible with my arrival time and glitches with my attempted payments online. She communicated and sent hilarious and sweet pictures daily of all their adventures and snuggle time together, which really eased my mind and brightened some tough days. She treated my needy puppy like her own giving him the attention he needed in the midst of such tumultuous transition for him, and stressful time for me. When I picked him up, he was happy with a contented belly, well exercised and had an empty bladder for the long ride home. Tori also told me she had picked off a crawling tick who must have hitched a ride during their romp in the grass, and alerted me to a rash on the inside of his leg that I had missed before I dropped him off. She noticed his slight growth in that short time, taught him how to walk on a leash, and worked with him on climbing stairs. I dropped off a confused little barely-trained puppy and got back a well-adjusted, happily socialized one with new skills! It's hard to find a sitter who knows your dog as well as you do. It's a miracle to find one who knows your dog BETTER than you do! I'm so glad Tori is sticking around after Graduation. I'll definitely be reaching out to her again. Congrats, Tori!
