I've been house sitting for friends and family since I was 12. It allowed me to supplement my income and work with the animals that I have loved since a young age. I was a vet tech in high school and during the first few summers in college, gaining small animal medicine and husbandry experience. In addition, I worked at a two different doggy day cares throughout my graduate and undergrad degrees, gaining a lot more experience with dogs and a little bit of dog training. Both of these degrees are also in animal science. I love pets of all kinds and have looked after everything from horses to dogs and cats, to birds. I am new to the area as a recent Penn State hire and don’t have established contacts for dog sitting like I did in the areas that I lived for my degrees.

I will not be boarding dogs as my landlord does not allow pets. I am respectful of your home and space and treat your pets as I would my own!

We recently moved to the area and were nervous about finding a new pet sitter for our 4 cats and rabbit. However, Torey was wonderful! She sent updates with pictures and was quick to respond. Highly recommend!

Torry is very dependable, she has house set & pet set for me multiple times. My pets were always happy to see her. They always had food and water & she took time to play ball with Izze when outside. He felt very special because he could cuddle with her on the couch & watch tv in the evening. My house was always left looking neat. Torry is very responsible & enjoyable to be around. Your pets will love her.

Schedule
I work full-time but have a fair amount of flexibility to work remotely up to 3 or 4 days a week. If you have a stable wifi connection I will be more available to spend time with your pups although there may still be some days I need to be gone for work for up to 8 hours. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if that is your preference.

- Let me know if any special needs or requests for your dog. I am usually able to accommodate. One thing I do need to know is how long they can go without being let out if I am watching them during the week. Depending on my schedule there may be days I have to be gone for longer time periods but I do my best to be flexible to you and your pets needs.
