I currently work as a freelance writer from a beautiful home in Echo Park. My home is completely fenced in with ample play area for your fur baby to enjoy. I would love to share my home with your puppo for walks, cuddles, sun bathing, snacking, fetch and water fun!

When caring for pets in my own home, I create a safe and comfortable environment that feels like a second home to them. I provide ample playtime, regular exercise, and affection to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met, especially when they are away from mom/dad. I am also keen on maintaining established routines, including feeding schedules and medication if needed, to minimize stress. My home includes a sizable backyard with an enclosed fence and I am also within walking distance of two parks. I also love driving to the Silverlake reservoir and Elysian for midday jaunts!

I can take any dogs that have special medication needs as I can follow instructions to a T. I am very thorough, meticulous, professional, and responsible when it comes to medication. It's also imperative that your furry friend is housebroken, up-to-date on vaccines and current on flea meds. I also cannot take dogs that bark too much. Please be transparent about your dog's barking situation. Thank you. Please let me know if your dog has any allergies, special needs, or behavioral issues. Does your dog like the occasional puppuccino? ;) *Due to the nature of my having a cat, I can not take dogs that are not cat-friendly.*

I am a native Los Angelina so I know my parks/attractions well. I love primarily going to Echo Park Lake which is a five-minute walk from my house. But I also frequent Elysian Park, Vermont Canyon and Franklin Canyon Park. I also believe in enrichment for your dog throughout the day, so I like freezing treats in dog friendly broths or filling a Kong up for them. I also use dog mats to freeze peanut butter + so they are mentally active throughout the day. Please let me know if your dog has any allergies or the like so we can stay clear of any food issues.

I enjoy taking pups to the Silverlake Dog Park as well, for a nice cool down. Whether your dog prefers a leisurely sniff-filled stroll or a more energetic walk, I'm happy to tailor each outing to their needs and personality. Topacio was an amazing sitter for my dog! She sent lots of pictures and updates and was super accommodating when my flight got pushed back and I had to push back my pick up time. Topacio has a lovely backyard where my dog could explore and she came home super happy! I would highly recommend Topacio :)
