This is the only job I have, so most of my time will be spent in your home with your pets. It’s helpful if you leave written instructions that include the times of day your pets are usually fed, walked, and medicated (if needed). *See below* My goal is to keep your pets safe and loved. I tend to give updates daily, but can do more or less depending on your preference.

Safety, trust & environment

Keeping your dogs in their own environment will be less stressful for them. We can play in your yard if fenced, and/or take walks. I have doggie stairs I keep in the car if they are unable to jump in on their own and we need to go anywhere. I am happy to bring in packages, check your mail, and put out trash and recycling for pick-up days, as well as clean up after myself. I don’t typically do additional housekeeping chores.

Information Tonya R. would like to know about your pet

**EACH dog/cat needs its own Rover profile** **Please let me know if there are other pets (fish, chickens, etc) and how to care for them. Note that at this time only dogs and cats are covered by the Rover guarantee.** PET SITTER INFO SHEET: My job is to ensure you and your pet(s) feel safe and respected with me in your home. Writing/printing the answers to the prompts below will help to ensure I can do the best possible job for you and your pet(s). I will endeavor to keep your pet(s) schedules similar to typical routines. I feel consistency is very helpful in keeping pet anxiety and disruption lowered as they adjust to your not being present. Some pets may not eat well for the first couple of meals if they are very attached to you, but this issue typically resolves itself before/within 36-48 hours. PET(S) • Pet name(s) • What is the name, location, and phone number of your vet? • Local emergency contacts regarding pet(s)? • Routine - typical times for waking, bedtime, potty breaks, meal times, walks, and anything else they do daily • Feeding instructions, including location of food(s) • Medication instructions, if applicable • Known allergies (if applicable) • Any behaviors to watch for, or triggers? • Is your dog crate trained? • How long can your pet(s) be left alone? • Do you have a fully fenced yard? • Does your pet have a pet door to let themselves in and out? • Is your pet a known “escape artist”? If yes, what measures do you use to keep them from escaping? • Has your pet any favorite toys or treats? • Has your pet ever bitten or otherwise attacked another animal or person? • Location of cleaning supplies in case of a potty accident indoors? • Where should I place full potty bags after walks? • Does your dog have a history of biting/attacking people/other animals? If I am bitten seriously enough to warrant an ER or urgent care visit, I will immediately end the sit and turn your dog over to your emergency contact, your vet, or animal control if the first two options aren’t feasible. I will expect full payment of the sitting, as well as your coverage of all related medical expenses. HOUSE • WiFi information • Keypad info, and/or key location for entering the home • Which bedroom will I be sleeping in (location in home)? • Will I be picking up your mail? If yes, is it a keyed mailbox? Key location, if applicable? • Will I be putting out your trash/recycling? • Which evening should I put one or both out? Location of bins, and location of where to put bins at curb? • Will you have plants that need care while you’re gone? If yes, provide information as to location(s) and watering/misting schedules. • Location of TVs, remotes? Any special instructions? • Which cable and/or streaming services may I use during my stay? (Tip: Create a “guest” account if you don’t want my viewing to alter your algorithms.) • Any special instructions regarding kitchen appliances, heating/cooling system, and/or any other household issues? • Are there cameras in the home? If yes, please disclose location(s). • If my stay is extended, would it be acceptable for my partner to spend time with me in your home - watching movies, having dinner, spending a night or two? (“No” is always, of course, an answer that will be respected if this exceeds your comfort level.) • If there are people expected to come over (landscaper, etc), please let me know so as not to be surprised by their presence.

A typical day

With your pet, I’ll do my best to keep their routine in terms of feeding, walks, and potty times. I tend to keep walks under 30 minutes.

Pet sitting in your home

Pet care experience

Hello! Thank you for checking out my profile. — Please read my entire profile — For an explanation of my rates, select “services”. I’m 55, so I won’t be throwing any parties, but I’m not too old to gently play and have slow walks with your fur baby/babies! We had our dog, Blackberry, since she was 4 months old. She was just a month shy of turning 16 when she passed on April 21, 2023. We adopted Daisy Dot, an approximately 18 week old Lab mix pup, on August 20th, 2023. **My dog will remain home with my family, and will never join me while staying in your home.** I do require a meet & greet prior to our first booking to ensure your pets like me, and that we humans feel comfortable, too. Rover requires all communication to stay on the app. Please help me be the best sitter I can be by leaving a review. I try to keep my prices reasonable, but understand that they take 20% of the fee you pay off the top. I explain this to illustrate why I cannot give discounts or haggle. Tips are never expected, but will always be appreciated (they do not take any off of any tip you might see fit to offer). **Please review my prices under the “Services” tab of my profile.** I am a non-smoker, which I know matters to many of my clients. I will always ask permission to invite any family or friends into your home, and abide by your response. I sometimes have back issues, and have discovered I need a real bed to sleep in - no fold outs of any sort.

Tonya has watched my dogs multiple times and always does an excellent job! I love that she keeps the house clean and does the extras while I’m away. I always feel confident leaving my dogs in her care. Highly recommend!

Tonya was completely reliable in fulfilling what we had agreed upon for taking care of Sadie and Sammy and spending four days and nights with them. She has excellent experience and is sensitive and understanding about older pets, and people! She kept in touch with us daily and sent photos. I would not hesitate to ask Tony to return next time we need to go away.

Tonya took excellent care of our two elderly dogs. I think they barely missed us when we were gone because they got all of the pets and cuddles they could ask for. She took excellent care of the house and handled our excessive amount of deliveries with care. She kept us regularly updated with status updates and photos. Highly recommend.
