I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and have hands-on experience caring for dogs. I raised and trained my own dog from puppyhood and also volunteered with St. John Ambulance, where I brought my family dog to visit students at McMaster University during exam periods. I loved seeing how much comfort and happiness a friendly dog could bring, especially when people were stressed. I have flexibility during the day to give your pup some extra attention, check in on them, take them for a walk, or simply keep them company while you’re away. I live at 125 Shoreview Pl, so I’m especially interested in caring for dogs in or near my building and neighbourhood. Being close by means I can make convenient drop-ins and give your pup more consistent attention. I’m comfortable with walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, and keeping to your dog’s usual routine. I understand that every dog has their own personality, quirks, and preferences, and I’ll take the time to get to know what makes your little one comfortable and happy. And yes, I absolutely love doggo smooches, cuddles, and hugs. I will also 100% talk to your dog like they are a person because, frankly, they usually have better conversations. 😂 Your pup will be treated with lots of patience, affection, and care while they’re with me. I can’t wait to meet you and your little cutie! 🐶❤️

I have a very friendly dog if you're cutie would like a walking partner. If solo walks are preferred that's no problem! I love spending time with animals and when I visit your pet will have treats, cuddles and/or a nice walk. Or, if your pet prefers to be left alone I will absolutely resist the urge and ensure your pet feels safe and respected.

Tonya has taken care of my fearful and anxious dog many times, both for dog sitting and walks, and I couldn’t recommend her more. She is always positive, caring, patient, and attentive to my dog’s individual needs. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog in her care because I know she is in good hands. Her dog, Benji, is also incredibly friendly and playful, and my dog absolutely loves spending time with him. Tonya is reliable, responsible, and genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. I trust her completely and wouldn’t hesitate to have her care for my dog again!
