Loving Pet Care in La Center
My partner Tammy and I live on 3.6 acres in La Center, WA, where pets have plenty of space to play and explore. We share our home with a friendly Pomeranian and two cats, and we’re comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes. Tammy works for a veterinary diagnostic laboratory in Portland, and I work remotely from home, which means your pets will have consistent attention and care throughout the day. While our yard isn’t yet fully enclosed, we always supervise pets when they’re outdoors to ensure their safety. We welcome well-behaved dogs who get along with small dogs and large cats, and we provide a calm, reliable, and pet-savvy environment where they’ll feel secure and cared for.

Schedule
Because I work from home full-time, I’m available throughout the day to provide consistent care, walks, and companionship. Tammy works at a veterinary diagnostic laboratory in Portland, so we maintain a reliable routine together. We also enjoy taking dogs on walks in the evenings and on weekends at local parks and trails, providing them with extra exercise and enrichment. Pets in our care are always supervised, both indoors and outdoors, with ample attention built into our daily schedule.

In our home, friendly and well-behaved pets are welcome to relax on the furniture or even sleep in our bed, as long as they get along with our Pomeranian and two cats. Pets are taken outside frequently throughout the day under supervision, and we keep fluffy dog beds and fresh water bowls around the house for their comfort. I have extensive experience caring for pets with special needs, including blind animals, dogs requiring daily medications (such as pills, syringes, or eye drops), and pets requiring medicated shampoos for skin or coat issues. I also regularly administer medication to my own dog twice a day, so I’m confident in handling similar routines for yours. Whether it’s removing burrs or thorns from fur and paws, offering extra reassurance to anxious dogs, or following any special instructions you provide, I’ll do whatever is needed to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for in our home.

A day with us is full of activity, attention, and plenty of fun. We live on 3.6 acres surrounded by woods, so dogs have space to explore, run, and bark without worry—always under my supervision. Our property is perfect for games of fetch or just enjoying the outdoors together. I enjoy taking dogs on walks through wooded areas. When the weather is cool, we often head to nearby trails for extra exercise and enrichment. At home, there are fluffy dog beds throughout the house, and I even keep some in the car so pets are comfortable on rides to local parks or trails. Whether it’s playing outside, relaxing inside, or exploring the neighborhood trails, your pets will enjoy a safe and fun routine that balances activity with comfort.
