Safety, trust & environment

I am very cautious by nature, always making sure that pets in my care are safe and secure. I want them to be happy and trusting and at ease -- a safe, secure environment where their basic needs are met and where plenty of play time and affection are given is key to achieving that.

Information Tony D. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know what your pet is comfortable with, what they love, what toys they prefer, and even what negative triggers they may have. For example, some dogs react negatively to people wearing sunglasses or hats. It's best to have that knowledge in advance of walks or dog park playtime, if you allow that socialization. If your pets have any special exercise needs or limitations, any diet restrictions, or just general advice on any preferred interaction methods or how they like to be handled, say, with collar or harness when on leash walks, let's talk about that too.

A typical day

I will make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, one-on-one play time, socialization, and safe exercise, plus routine good walks daily, just in the neighborhood or a nearby park. Ball throwing, command reinforcement sessions, if needed, petting and chin scratches, belly rubs...just depends on what your pet enjoys!

I love all our furry friends!

Pet care experience

*Please note that I only do house sitting for cats when they are accompanied by a dog. I have either had pets myself or have taken care of pets (or both, contemporaneously), since I was a kid. I am naturally drawn to them. My friends, family, and neighbors have hired me regularly and relied on me to take care of their pets. I have always enjoyed the interaction, and just spending time with them. They are all my friends and I treat them like they are my own!
