I prioritize safety, consistency, and making pets feel comfortable in their own environment. In a client’s home, I follow all routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and house rules, so pets experience as little disruption as possible. I’m very attentive to doors, leashes, and surroundings during walks, and I always keep pets secure and supervised. I pay close attention to body language and behavior and adjust care if a pet seems anxious, tired, or overstimulated. I keep homes clean and respectful, send regular updates and photos, and communicate right away if anything seems off. My goal is for pets to feel safe, calm, and cared for and for owners to feel completely confident while they’re away.

Please let me know their daily schedule (as well as you can, I know every day is different!). This may include feeding times, walking times, times when they’re the highest energy, special field trips ie to the dog park. Their favorite treats including anything dogs and humans both enjoy like blueberries, carrots, pumpkin etc.

I really enjoy doing physical activities and exploring with the dogs in my care! There’s a long walking trail ~100 feet from my apartment that is wooded but not too busy. I also enjoy going through any toys they might have or utilizing high stimulating treat dispensers like kongs or homemade pupsicles (can be water or include anything your pet usually snacks on). There is also a dog park maybe a mile away from me with a space for both small dogs and a space for larger breeds.

Toniya is incredibly patient and kind towards my 10mo old pup !! During boarding, she sent photos and updates regularly and went above and beyond to make Hoppy feel at home. My puppy gets anxious easily and can get restless but Toniya knew how to read her cues and address her needs. She just has so much compassion and respect for animals, especially when they’re adjusting to a new environment!
Excellent house and pet sitter! Tonya is amazing with both dogs and cats and is SUPER dependable and reliable. I would absolutely hire her again in the future. Was very patient with all of our instructions, walked our dog multiple times a day, and made sure everyone was happy and healthy!
Toniya was excellent with my older dog. My dog doesn’t like the cold in the winter, and Toniya went above and beyond by providing stimulating activities in the house for Rosie. Rosie had a great time!
An absolutely fantastic person, dog walker. I could not possibly recommend her highly enough!!
