What sets me apart is how attentive and calm I am with pets. As a medical student, I’m trained to notice small changes in behavior, energy, or appetite and to take safety seriously while still keeping things fun and relaxed. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and quirks, send thoughtful updates, and treat every animal like my own so you can feel totally at ease while you’re away! I’m especially great with senior pets and medically complex animals who need a little extra patience or reassurance. I’m reliable with routines, medications, and special instructions, and I always move at your pet’s pace.

I prioritize safety, consistency, and making pets feel comfortable in their own environment. In a client’s home, I follow all routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and house rules, so pets experience as little disruption as possible. I’m very attentive to doors, leashes, and surroundings during walks, and I always keep pets secure and supervised. I pay close attention to body language and behavior and adjust care if a pet seems anxious, tired, or overstimulated. I keep homes clean and respectful, send regular updates and photos, and communicate right away if anything seems off. My goal is for pets to feel safe, calm, and cared for and for owners to feel completely confident while they’re away.

Toniya is incredibly patient and kind towards my 10mo old pup !! During boarding, she sent photos and updates regularly and went above and beyond to make Hoppy feel at home. My puppy gets anxious easily and can get restless but Toniya knew how to read her cues and address her needs. She just has so much compassion and respect for animals, especially when they’re adjusting to a new environment!
Excellent house and pet sitter! Tonya is amazing with both dogs and cats and is SUPER dependable and reliable. I would absolutely hire her again in the future. Was very patient with all of our instructions, walked our dog multiple times a day, and made sure everyone was happy and healthy!
Toniya was excellent with my older dog. My dog doesn’t like the cold in the winter, and Toniya went above and beyond by providing stimulating activities in the house for Rosie. Rosie had a great time!

I believe that her experiences, skills, and strengths of compassion, resourcefulness, and dependability would ensure that you and your pets have a great experience with her. She would be able to follow your instructions, keep routines, notice changes, and attend to your pet and their needs with an immense amount of love and duty, as if the pet was her own. Schedule
Currently working part time in (psychiatry) research and studying for our required national board exams. As such, I will have plenty of time for your fur family members!
