Must love to play!
Hello! We are a pet-friendly/pet-loving household with two young dogs of our own. If you are looking for a lower key environment and lots of playtime for your pet, we would love to have them as part of our home while you are away. With a dog behaviour background, we take care to make sure pets are a good match - including temperament and any special care required. About me…I am an experienced pet owner with three pets of my own, and grew up with multiple pets my whole life. I am currently working towards my dog training certification. Dogs and cats bring joy to myself and my family and we look forward to welcoming yours into our home. I believe in the importance of consistency and care and will ensure we follow any training routines you have in place or help with basic commands. Sleeping arrangements vary by dog - in their favourite bed from home, a dog crate or in the bedroom with us if that's what the dog and owner are most comfortable with. We do have a large size crate and kennel on hand for dogs to use at owner's request, or when pups should have a little separation either for safety or their own peace of mind (dogs need downtime too!). We will communicate everything with you and discuss the best options for your pet. Please just ask and happy to make an arrangement that works for you and your pet! Our fur babies are precious to us and of course we understand that is the same for any pets under our care. We do have a 10-year old in the home who loves animals as much as I do and is a great source of help and company for your pets. Please take this into consideration to ensure your pup is the right fit. If you are unsure, we can talk about it and/or arrange a meet and greet. Coming soon - check out updated pictures for our new property that we'll be gradually relocating to - offering more property and fenced in dog area for loads of exercise and fun. Effective February 2025 - all dogs that stay in our home have the option of a short car ride over for fenced-in private dog runs and extra exercise!

Toni-Lynn and her family were absolutely amazing with our dog Max! 🐶 He stayed with them for over a week and was treated like part of the family. We got regular photo updates that made us smile every day. From start to finish, everything was positive. Max was happy and well cared for. We would highly recommend Toni-Lynn to anyone looking for a loving, reliable sitter and will definitely be booking with her again in the future.

Toni and her family took the best care of our girl for 10 days while we were traveling. Toni would send cute puctures and updates every day. It felt like a close friend was looking after our dog, which put our minds totally at ease while on vacation. They also have cute dogs of their own that can be great play buddies

Schedule
I currently work full time with a flexible schedule that ensures frequent breaks and walks for my own pets and visiting pets. I will only take on pets when I know that I will be avail/in-home, with the exception of short trips out depending on length of stay.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a dog proof home with a fully fenced in yard. Dogs under my care get at least two on leash walks per day and plenty of supervised outdoor time in our fully fenced in backyard. Note: Effective February 2025, dogs staying with us can enjoy access to our very own fenced-in property for extra space and exercise - just a short drive away!
Pets
A typical day
Dogs will get lots of playtime in our home with a small pack of two of our own. Remy and Maple are very used to other dogs around We also will go on plenty of walks (separately and/or together) as well as play games inside the house and backyard.
