Overall Toni was an okay house sitter. She was difficult to get ahold of which is somewhat understandable because she seemed like a busy person working a few jobs. I had to reach out throughout her visit to gain any insight to how the animals were doing. Thankfully we are close with neighbors or we would not have know that she had company over without asking or letting us know before hand. She left for work 4 hours before the agreed upon end time for her stay which made for a long day for both animals. Additionally, she left our bird outside of his cage from the time she left at 2pm until we arrived home to find him alone and in the dark at 8pm which is absolutely unacceptable considering we made it clear that the bird should be safe in his cage any time he is unsupervised. Thankfully, both animals are okay. The entire experience ended up being more stressful than any previous house sitting experience we have had to date.
