Responsible dog mom w/fenced yard
I grew up with dogs, so taking care of dogs was part of my life. We lost our beloved dog at age 15 in April 2025, so I know how to care for from puppies to senior dogs. I used to be a certified dog trainer before kids arrived. We initially started boarding dogs on Rover for my senior dog to add something extra to his life, but that turned into something we love to do even after he’d passed because we love and enjoy taking care of all sorts of breeds otherwise we wouldn’t have opportunities to meet! We recently adopted a sweet 6yo cockapoo. So we can only take dog and kids friendly dogs.

Tomoe and her family are absolutely amazing with our Liesl. I cannot imagine better Hoomans to care for my baby girl. She absolutely loves being with them in their home.
We left our dog for an extended 11 day trip. We were worried about leaving our sensitive rescue pup, but Tomoe and her family couldn't have been more welcoming and loving to our dog. We received tons of great pictures and videos throughout the stay, and Tomoe made sure to provide lots of exercise for our sporty breed. We know we can always leave Cedar with someone who will treat him as we would. Thanks so much , Tomoe!

Tomoe was a wonderful daysitter for our dog, and clearly cares anout the individual needs of each pet. She was very communicative and gave Cedar everything he needed. We will be leaving him for an extended trip soon, and his day with Tomoe and her family was the perfect introduction to his upcoming adventures with them.
Tomoe is fantastic. Highly communicative with lots of pics and videos. Not sure my dog will want to come home!
Tomoe is just THE BEST! my very shy dog loves visiting Tomoe and her family, who shower her with attention and love. Tomoe is extremely thoughtful and careful, spending alot of time with my baby girl.

Schedule
I'm stay-at-home mom, so I can spend lots of time with your dog. I go for a 2-3 mile walk every morning after kids take off for schools. If your dog can handle that, I’m happy to take him/her along. If your dog is not a long distance walker, I can go for a shorter walk with him/her, separate from my walk. Also I love taking photos of dogs. You can expect lots of photos/videos while your fur baby is with us, so you are not in the dark.

I have a good size fenced backyard, and my dog was alive, he used to be in and out when the weather was nice. If your dog likes to hang out outdoor, he/she can stay as much as he/she wants. Or if your dog prefer indoor, we can hang out and play indoor.
Pets
A typical day
I walk everyday, so if your dog is a high energy dog, I’m happy to take the dog with me. I can promise to give at least 3 walks a day in addition to relief walks. If your dog likes to just hang out in the backyard like my dog was, they can do that. I'm happy to customize walking according to the dog's needs. Oh, of course, we play indoor and give lots of love. Basically we treat your pup just like ours. :)
