My fiancé and I both grew up with dogs in the house, from German Shepherds, to Labs, to Chihuahuas and have watched and dog sat them all many times. We love all dogs, big and small and have a pup of our own who loves to play and is great with all size doggos! We do live in a new apartment complex with a dog park that is strictly for residents only and, most of the time, it’s pretty empty. We love to take the dogs there to get out some energy and throw the ball around a bit! We do also have lots of grass and space to walk the dog here and time during the week to take them on walks/hikes and to the beach! Our dog is relatively high energy and loves to play with other dogs, so exercise will not be lacking in our care! I am a registered nurse who works in Portland 3 days a week and my fiancé, Hillary, works from home in marketing. So someone will be around during the week and on the weekends to care for your furry family member. Being a couple that travels and uses Rover quite often, we understand how precious your pup is to your family and how nerve wracking it can be to leave them! So, we will definitely be providing frequent updates and pictures! We’ll care for your dog as if they were our own!

We had a wonderful repeat experience with Tomislav & Hillary and their dog Milo. Our dog is treated like part of their family, extremely well cared for and included in daily activities. Our dog has anxiety, especially in boarding situations and we usually avoid taking trips that are not dog inclusive. Tomislav & Hillary have made it possible for our family to travel with the peace of mind that our dog is happy and comfortable. We love seeing pictures of him and Milo! We also appreciate their excellent communication and accommodating our hectic schedules with two young kids.

Schedule
I only work 3 days a week and my fiancé works remotely so we are available for daycare and boarding on weekdays and weekends depending on availability! But for the most part, we are free and willing to look after your pup!

Safety, trust & environment
Someone is always home in our apartment to look after your pup and we have a very friendly and playful cattle dog that will keep them busy and well exercised throughout the day! We are also close to many trails and the beach to walk them on top of the grass space as well as a personal dog park available strictly for residents here at our complex! We can crate your dog easily if you have a crate available - we have the room for it! We also have plenty of toys and treats too!

A typical day
We have a high energy dog ourselves so we have him to keep your pup active during their stay as well as lots of trails and the beach nearby! Our complex also has a dog park with lots of space for the pups to run around and get some energy out! We take our dogs on frequent walks and potty breaks during the day as well and have tons of toys here for your dog to enjoy and play with!
