Hi! My name is Tommy. I’m a recent UCSB graduate with a deep love of animals big and small. From having had a dog myself, I know that when you have to leave the house, the first thing you worry about is your fur baby, and the last thing you want is for them to be left alone. That’s where I come in! I’m a trustworthy and responsible pet sitter, dog walker, cat watcher, goldfish feeder, horse whisperer (okay, maybe not that last one), here to take care of your pets for you while you’re gone, and give you the peace of mind of knowing that your baby is in safe hands. I care for pets by giving them extra attention, as I know many animals can be initially stressed by new environments and/or new people. We start off by introducing them to me with you there, so they associate you - a person of comfort - with this new "scary" person, and find out they aren't so scary after all. Then after you leave, I watch over your baby with extra care, and take them on walks throughout the neighborhood to turn any potential nervous energy they might have into excitement about this new friend they're making.

Tom did an amazing job looking after my dog while I was out of town! He was very communicative, quick to respond, and sent photos of their adventures. My dog clearly ADORED him and had a great time. I’ll definitely book him again for my next trip!
I don’t know anyone who loves animals more than Tommy does. He is kind, caring, responsible, and conscientious, and will endlessly shower your pets with attention and affection. I trust him entirely in my home and with my dog, who absolutely ADORES him to no end. I simply cannot recommend him highly enough as the best sitter/walker to look after your fuzzy friends.
Tom has house sit and walked my dogs multiple times and I can’t recommend him enough! My dogs have separation anxiety and don’t like going on walks with just anyone, but they loved Tom and his very friendly personality off the bat! He goes above and beyond, listens well to and follows all the requests/instructions I give him and sends me pictures from his outings with my dogs or while dog sitting. 10/10 recommend him as a trusted dog walker!
Do you know how pets just take to some people? They seem to know when a person is truly on their wavelength. Pets love Tom just about as much as he loves them. And you'll see that connection when they first meet. He is warm, caring, and especially conscientious with your very special dog or cat. I have used Tom many times to walk my golden retriever, Betty, and found him to be responsible, prompt, and very in tune with Betty's needs. Tom took care of Betty while I was on vacation and regularly communicated to me how she was doing throughout the day, with reports of walks, playtime, eating, etc. Knowing Tom was watching over Betty, I was never worried or concerned. If you are looking for a competent and compassionate walker or sitter for your pet, and want to know they are in great hands, Tom is your go-to person.
I have known Tom for a long time and my dog knows him as “Uncle Tommy!” We regularly volunteered at our local shelter together back in high school, caring for a wide range of dog breeds, ages, and temperaments. I’ve been a certified professional dog trainer for almost 10 years, and did pet sitting and walking for 5 of those. Tom is very compassionate, patient, responsible, flexible to meet your/your dogs’ needs, and is great at making dogs feel comfortable. I trust him completely with my dog if I need someone else to care for her, and cannot recommend him enough!

Schedule
I'm currently working part-time from home as a research assistant (a job I can do on my laptop from virtually anywhere) - so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets, and give them the attention and TLC that they deserve :)
