I’m a lifelong dog lover with 5 years of hands-on dog sitting experience. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, including English Cocker Spaniels, American Cocker Spaniels, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. As an adult, I’ve owned a miniature dachshund called Milo. Over the last few years I’ve regularly looked after dogs for friends and family, including dachshunds and a Shipoo (Shih Tzu/Poodle mix). I’m comfortable with different personalities and energy levels but I live in an apartment so larger dogs might not have the room they need for longer stays. I live alone in a secure owned apartment in central Manchester with a fully enclosed private astro-turfed roof terrace, so dogs have a safe outdoor space to relax and play. I work hybrid and have a flexible schedule so as long as I have a bit of notice I can work my office days around booking. With a bit more notice, I’m also available on weekends. I’ll keep you up to date through the day with pictures so you know your child is happy and safe. My apartment is on the border of Manchester and Salford with a number of small parks in very close proximity and Peel Park a 10 minute walk away.

We are very happy with great updates, clear communication and great care Tom provided for Tina. Our dog settled really well with Tom and had a lovely time while we were away.
Tom took great care of piggy, while we were out he sent us lots of updates on how piggy was doing throughout the day and we felt at ease knowing she was in good hands having a fun time with him. Will definitely use Toms services again in the future
Fynn enjoyed a fantastic week with Tom. He was kept safe and well cared for and gently exposed to other doggies that Tom routinely cares for, further aiding his growth and socialisation skills. Tom took excellent care of my dog Freddie. It was the first time I’d used a pet sitter so was a little nervous but needn’t have been as he was very well cared for, I got lots of updates and Freddie was even a little disappointed to come home! I would definitely reach out to tom in the future, and recommend to a friend. Thanks Tom!
Tom was available at short notice, communicated quickly and regularly, and Whisky seemed comfortable in his company.
Tom was fab, and able to help me and Albie out with a super last minute request. Albies come home super chilled and happy, thank you tom!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I work hybrid role and have a flexible schedule, which means dogs get plenty of company, attention, toilet breaks, and walks throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. I’m active myself, so regular walks and playtime are something I genuinely enjoy. I’m also flexible on weekends with notice, so I can adapt around a dog’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and settled.

I care for pets as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and settled from the moment they arrive. I’ll stick closely to their usual routine, including feeding times, walks, play, toilet breaks, and any specific instructions from the owner. My apartment is calm, clean, and secure, and I also have a fully enclosed private roof terrace with astro turf where dogs can safely get fresh air and relax. I also make sure owners stay updated with messages and photos so they can feel reassured while they’re away.
A typical day
I’m naturally an early riser so for more energetic dogs a longer early walk suits me and my flat is only a 10 minute walk from Peel Park. There’s also lots of smaller parks right on my doorstep for quicker breaks.
