Having house-sat for my parents and their 2 dogs, my brother and his 3 dogs and cat many times, I am very aware of what it takes to fit i to their routine and make sure the process is as smooth as possible with little to no disruption. Being aware of pets' needs and watching their behaviour is a must, while giving them them the all the attention and fuss they deserve. In terms of my own home, we live in the very centre of Richmond with easy access to a gated garden and totally secure outside area. We are also a stone's throw from Richmond Green and the Old Deer park, the latter which also offers a secure, gated area.

Preferably if their dogs are good with others so they can be comfortable alongside our own dog Roger. Are they "friendly"? Does anything make they particularly nervous? Dietary requirements?
A typical day
With Richmond Green, the Mini Green and Old Deer Park all a 3-5 minute walk away, socialising with other dogs and owners happens on a regular basis. Within local gated areas "fetch" is a must with both sticks and balls, and walks along the river are a joy.

My family has always had pets - at one point we had 5 cats, 2 Great Danes, a horse and 2 goats! From an early age I was involved in all types of care including walks, feeding, trips to vets and even looking after a litter of kittens.

Thomas is an amazing pet caregiver. He has looked after my 2 year old whippet since she was 4 months. He gives her plenty of exercise and game time to ensure she is entertained and then she can settle down for a well deserved snooze. I know that I don’t need to worry when I leave her with Tom as he gives her such good care and most importantly they are both fond of each other.
