Hi, I'm Toby — dogs have been the best part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by them, spent two years caring for other people's dogs around the Rushden area with my partner, and I've just made the biggest decision of my working life: I've walked away from a career managing big teams in busy warehouses because, hand on heart, I'd rather spend my days surrounded by dogs — giving them care, love and a proper home-from-home — than anything else. That's what Frisby's Dogs is. Not a kennel, not a cage in sight — just our home, opened up to your dog as one of our own. I keep numbers small and deliberately low so every dog gets real attention: proper walks (we're spoilt for green space around here), play, rest, and a comfy spot on the sofa. The heart of all this is Hera, our rescue from Romania. When she arrived, she spent three weeks hiding under the sofa, terrified of everything. Today she sleeps in our bed, is fully house-trained, happy off-lead, knows a stack of tricks, and is full of beans! Rehabilitating her taught me real patience and a feel for nervous, rescue, or just plain quirky dogs — so if yours is a little anxious or particular, they're in exactly the right hands. Hera's also a bit of a social magician: one of her best mates is a 60kg Rottweiler who won't play with any other dog on earth — but the second he sees Hera, he's zooming around like a puppy. It's mainly me looking after your dog day to day, with my partner Nadja — who loves the doggos every bit as much — working from home regularly and on hand to help. No kids, calm and settled, secure garden, brilliant walks on the doorstep. Your dog won't be "just another booking" here — they'll be part of the pack. Come join us! 🐾

Schedule
Frisby's Dogs is my full-time focus now — so I'm not fitting your dog around a 9-to-5. I'm available and flexible throughout the day, which means a routine built around your dog rather than squeezed into my diary. Day care drop-off is usually 7–9am with collection 5–6pm, and walks are arranged flexibly to suit your dog. My partner works from home regularly too, so there's always someone about.

Your dog is cared for in our home — a calm, adult-only house in Hampton with a fully enclosed, secure rear garden that's checked every day. No cages, no kennels: dogs have free roam of the ground floor and garden, with constant supervision and deliberately small numbers so nothing gets missed. Every dog meets me and Hera on a relaxed intro walk before any booking, so I know they'll be happy and safe in the group — and Hera's often the one who helps a nervous newcomer come out of their shell. It's a non-smoking home, there are no children, and I'm fully insured (public liability and care, custody & control). Vaccinations and flea/worm treatment are required for everyone's safety, and I keep a canine first-aid kit to hand. Whether your dog's a confident social butterfly or a shy rescue who needs patience, they're treated exactly like one of our own.
