Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover based between Leeds and Manchester, sharing my home with my fox red Labrador, Callie, who is 2.5 years old and genuinely the perfect companion. Callie is incredibly friendly, well-socialised, and great with other dogs. She’s very intuitive—happy to play when others want to, but equally respectful of dogs who prefer their own space. Because of her calm and balanced nature, visiting dogs tend to settle in quickly and feel at home. I work from home full-time in an open-plan house, so your dog will always have company, supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day—no long periods left alone. Our home is a relaxed, dog-friendly space where dogs are treated like part of the family. We’re lucky to have a fully enclosed garden with a secure double-gate system, so dogs can safely enjoy being outside whenever they like (weather permitting!). When it’s dry, they’re free to roam in and out as they please. Exercise is a big part of our routine. Callie gets three walks a day, usually up on the local moors and hills or along the canal—plenty of variety, fresh air, and stimulation. My wife, Lydia, is also a huge dog lover and often joins in, which means we can walk dogs separately if needed to suit their pace, personality, or training requirements. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos, messages, and reassurance while you’re away.
