I will mostly plan my day around ensuring walks/toilet breaks are built into mine and your dog’s day. I usually go for a walk in the morning and the evening and in summer I like to spend time outdoors when I can. I work full time but am able to work from home whenever required (usually Monday and Friday). Weekends are the easiest time for me to dog sit/walk as there are no meetings etc.

I have always grown up with dogs and have spent long periods of time looking after a particularly adventurous cocker spaniel. I am therefore very conscious of ensuring everything is dog proof and dog safe. I understand dogs’ diets and the sensitivities around this that can differ for each dog. I generally see myself as a clean and tidy person and therefore like to think the risk to your pooch or home is minimal. Any mess made by your dog will be tidied up (and reported back to you if in your own home - just for transparency).

I’ve grown up with dogs, so caring for dogs has been a big part of my life. I’ve also looked after friends’ and family’s dogs for extended periods and love getting to know each dog’s personality. Since moving away from my parents’ dogs, I’d love the opportunity to care for yours - life just isn’t the same without a dog around. I’m active and enjoy walks, but I’m equally happy relaxing at home if that’s more your dog’s pace. I enjoy basic puppy training and reinforcing good habits using patience and positive encouragement. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’m confident caring for dogs of all ages. I have a shared, gated garden and easy access to several great parks for walks and exercise. Please do reach out if you have any questions - I totally understand they’re part of the family and I’m happy to provide any info required to assure you I’ll treat them as such!

Toby loves dogs . He is sensitive to their needs and has house sat for periods of times when we’ve been away . Our Doggies are old and blind , he made allowances for their quirky needs. Very slow walks making sure they didn’t bump into things .Frequent and weird meal combinations . He was careful not to feed them treats that would upset their stomachs . He was patient and spent time with them making sure they were comfortable and content . I totally trusted him with their care .
