Pet sitting in your home: ~It will be kept as clean as you left it—and maybe even cleaner, time permitting! ~I ask that is is clean and scent/smoke-free (allergies) when I arrive. ~I ask for a little space in the fridge for my food. Day care or boarding in my home: ~The spare bedroom is a Pet Air BnB! Enough room for pets to play together throughout the home or take their own space in a room. ~A crate/kennel with padding/bed is required, for everyone's safety and comfort. ~There are multiple clean beds for all the fur babies. That said, a boarding pet is most comfortable when they have their own bed or blanket brought with them, which must be flea/pest-free and clean. ~A collar with tags and leash are required. Harnesses are also recommended. ~Due to landlord restrictions, I can't accept pets in my home over 35 lbs or certain "dangerous" breeds (insurance rules, unfortunately). ~I use only non-toxic, natural, and eco-friendly cleaners and pest repellents for the safety of your pets and the environment. Everywhere: ~I stay alert to your pets' social cues, respecting their boundaries and addressing their needs. I provide stimulating opportunities to explore and burn off energy in a safe and respectful manner.

Information Tina Zarmene K. would like to know about your pet
To provide the best care for your pet, please help me with the following details: ~Training: Does your pet need any specific training? I’m experienced with positive reinforcement techniques and will stick to your preferred methods (no shock collars). ~Socialization: How does your dog interact with other dogs? Please answer for both on-leash and off-leash. ~Triggers: Are there any people, animals, locations, or sounds that cause stress or anxiety for your pet? ~Walk/Hike Ability: How far can your pet comfortably walk or hike? I enjoy walks/hikes of any length, weather permitting (light rain ok), but will not walk a pet on hot pavement or sand without protective boots. ~Medical Needs: Does your pet have any medical conditions? I’m comfortable administering medication in treats, food, or as directed, with the exception of certain invasive methods, so please just discuss with me. ~Sensitive Areas: Are there any sensitive spots on your pet’s body to avoid? (ears, paws, old injuries) ~Vet Info: What’s your regular vet’s name and contact information? ~Emergency Plan: Where should I take your pet in case of an emergency after hours? ~Emergency Contacts: Who should I contact in case of an emergency? I’ve found it incredibly helpful when clients provide this info on an instruction sheet, along with any tips or special needs. I also recommend a simple letter of authorization for emergency medical care (easy to find online)—this provides peace of mind for everyone.
A typical day
Your pets’ needs will be fully met and I’ll follow their routine to the tee. A typical day includes cuddles, playtime, and loose-leash walks. Your pet can even enjoy an adventure day! We can visit the river, go hiking, or explore pet stores for some sniffing and stimulation. A strong, quality harness and seatbelt (or crate) are required for travel. For peace of mind, I offer a live Google document that I update throughout the day, so you can stay informed 24/7.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Zarmene (or Z)! Animal care and behavior are my true passions. Over the years, I’ve learned so much from my own dog and two cats, as well as from rescuing and reuniting dogs with their families. Volunteering at sanctuaries and caring for injured wildlife has only deepened my knowledge. What clients love about me: ~Trustworthy and reliable with both pets and homes. ~Detailed updates with notes, pics/videos, and a solid understanding of animal care and training. ~Patient and consistent, especially with anxious pets—dogs quickly warm up to me! ~Positive reinforcement is my go-to—no shock collars, just communication that works for each pet. ~I believe in tailoring care to each animal’s needs, listening to their cues, and helping them feel safe and comfortable. ~On-leash walks are my specialty, and adventure days are available for an extra fee. Note: If you're more than 5 miles from me, a small mileage charge may apply, depending on the number of visits. Feel free to ask any questions at our Meet & Greet before booking!

Reviews

Zarmineh did a wonderful job watching our puppers. Sent is photos of them playing outside and letting us know their condition throughout her stay. Was very receptive to our instructions during our meet and greet for our dogs in training. Very positive, punctual, and reliable. Would hire again!
Tina stayed with our pup for 4 days while we were out of town with limited cell reception. Her attention to detail for both our house and our dog was outstanding. She followed our instructions exactly, and her communication was excellent! Our dog had some digestion issues right before we left so we had to change his diet at the last minute and Tina adjusted with no problem. Her knowledge of all things dog related was super helpful and appreciated. She took videos and kept track of important notes in a detailed spreadsheet. It was easy to see her love for dogs (and all animals) and we were relieved to feel so comfortable leaving our boy with someone so trustworthy! We will definitely be booking Tina again in the future.
Zarmineh is conscientious, responsible and trustworthy! I have known her for several years and can count on her to pet sit. I always feel safe and know that the homes and animals in her care are in good hands. She is active and loves walking dogs. She cares so much about the welfare of animals and all beings! I'm so thankful to have her in my life! You can rest assured that you're in good hands and your loved ones will be treated like family!!!
Tina zarmene is an animal lover! She ensues that your pets get the best care. She is professional honest and prides herself on going above and beyond. I would work with her again and will the next time I need a pet sitter.
